I would have preferred greater responsiveness from Destination Properties - many times I needed to follow them up regarding communication and messages - they were always polite and friendly, yet slow to respond or unresponsive. It would have been nice if they had checked in on us when we arrived to see if everything is ok - that didn't happen. It was clear they are just an intermediary booking agency and once you are booked in they sort of lose interest in you. However everything worked fine - it just would have been appreciated if there were some more care and attention, which there wasn't.The apartment was very clean and functional. Our biggest disappointment was the kitchen as the pots and pans and utensils were old and tired and need to be replaced - for a premium rental price this place needs to have great quality cooking appliances and that was not the case.The fireplace is not actually a fireplace with wood - instead it takes some man-made product.Great location and very clean which was great.Overall a 3.5 experience.

Situated in a beautiful wooded area just out of the village, Gables 17 set up feels just like your home away from home. It is warm, comfortable, spacious and relaxing after a long day of skiing. We would thoroughly recommend this as a premier place to stay when visiting Whistler. Every feature and appointment has been provided to help make this an A class experience To top it off, our a host Gillian was tremendous. She really is a terrific host who put the icing on the cake for our stay.

No parking, so our vehicle got towed even we parked in the parking spot and paid for the fine for $280, I think Gillian and Tanya got some relationships with towing company, they never pick up the phone when we reported no heater and hot water(when we call on 4pm in the afternoon ), but call the towing company so quick and immediately. Also, the most disappointed thing is Tanya is not a nice/ kind person, she used some racist words during the conversation we had in the phone. If you would like a peaceful and nice vocation, I do recommend not booking their unit.

My siblings, SOs, and a few friends stayed in the house for a 5 day ski trip. We had 9 in our group and while the house is a small square footage for the max headcount, the living and dining area are well furnished to make it comfortable! House is just a couple minute walk to three different gondolas and both the Whistler/BC villages. Gillian was super helpful answering a few questions and coordinating check in for us. Would absolutely stay here again. The kitchen was a bit understocked on cookware, storage items, dishes, and had zero spices, cooking oils, sugar, etc, as my only criticism. Maybe related to covid protocol.

Location was fabulous and truly appreciated the free parking for 2 vehicles. Only issues were the 2nd floor washroom tub wouldn't drain well and at times the townhouse got warm but the patio slider and many fans helped. No windows in living room open so that room and kitchen can get warm when temperature hit mid 20s.

The townhouse is in a great location, short walk to upper village and has Fitz Simmons Creek right behind it. The downside was it was super hot! We were there during a hot spell in summer and not enough windows open, it felt like a sweat box. The owner has fans there but the main floor only had one small window and the sliding door for air circulation. We also had ants the first day but I bought Raid and sprayed the sliding door track and they stopped coming in. The unit is nicely updated and the complex is quiet, the grassy area was a real bonus. All in all I think it's a good place to rent but avoid hot weather!!

Free lost lake shuttle stops right in front of property. No AC, so get warm in the afternoon.

Just a great location, didn't have to get in my car once. Be careful because we got our 2nd car towed (our own fault) but the towtrucks are no joke up there. Would definitely rent it again.
