We arrived but didn’t stay It was Monday no food available Hotel is remote so would have meant driving out in the evening for food Offered Sandwiches or salad hardly a celebration for our anniversary Cut out losses and went home Our fault for not reading the small print Won’t go there adding Patronising manager

Comfortable and well equipped bedroom. Superb bathroom. Lovely view along the broad. Good parking. Helpful staff who showed me how to leave without disturbing anyone early the next morning. Opportunities for food and drink downstairs.

Could not fault this stay whatsoever. The location is stunning; the food is exceptional; the accommodation is superb; but most of all the hosting and the staff were absolutely brilliant. This place was a brilliant find and well worth the money; the added price of a breakfast is totally acceptable particularly to give you a good start to the day. I would just like to say thank you for making our stay as pleasurable as it was - it's not like I have nothing to compare this stay too either - your hosting and service was exceptional and better than a lot of other much more expensive venues. Every member of staff I came into contact with were totally invested in the business and the customer.

There was nothing not to like - everything was perfect from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.

We received a very warm welcome despite the staff being very busy with Sunday roast service. Our roast dinner was excellent as was our breakfast the following morning. Our room was fantastic with a lovely view over the water. Very clean and comfortable.

I can't think of anything we didn't like!

Lovely location, very cosy character pub, staff very friendly, excellent evening meal. Stayed overnight in nice room overlooking the water.

Nice quiet and picturesque location, close to Great Yarmouth and other points that we visited.

Had elderly relatives with me, that could not use all the bathroom facilities- mainly could not get in /out tomb like baths that had showers in. Needed more accessible showers as in my own room. Also low energy lights in their rooms not well appointed for reading. Bit too dim.

Our lodge was really lovely, comfortable with lots of space. The location was great, right on the Ormesby Broad. It was close to the close and also to the heart of the Norfolk Broads.

The bathroom was a little worn in places and could have done with some touch ups/more cleaning.

Stayed because we were attending a wedding nearby. Room was very comfortable, staff were attentive, efficient and friendly, restaurant had a good atmosphere and the food was good. Views were great. Wish we could have stayed longer, and intend to come back again. Overall, an excellent experience.

The key to our room safe was missing. We asked at reception and were given a code but it didn’t work. Possibly the safe mechanism needed a replacement battery? Because it wasn’t essential to us we left it, but I’m sure staff would have dealt with it had we needed them to, as they had said to come back if there was a problem.

One of the staff members(lady with glasses and long hair) seemed very fed up, spoke to us bluntly and quite rudely and made us feel quite uncomfortable at dinner time. However, another lady (foreign with dark short hair) was very pleasant, efficient and deserves 5*
