Great location
Standards have gone down over the years and staff were lacking in many ways
6.0 / 10.0
The location was amazing, right by the river so we could see the boats going up/down and the Turtles. The lady that looked after our room (318) was so lovely and helpful. The man on reception who gave us the lovely room with a great view was so helpful.
The location was amazing, right by the river so we could see the boats going up/down and the Turtles. The breakfast was the worst breakfast we have ever had in a hotel. The tomatoes were on their last legs. The staff in the restaurant were unhelpful, untidy. The view looking back to the hotel from the outside eating area looks awful. Old chair seats, rubble and generally a mess. The man on reception who gave us the lovely room with a great view was so helpful but the others on reception were miserable. The lady in the spa was lovely but one day another man was there and really unhelpful and rude so I didn't bother using. Had I known they are separate to the hotel I would have made the effort to go back.

Location was ideal for us. The breakfast was basic but decent. We had a room right next to the second pool, which was lovely. Staff were lovely and helpful. Rooms were clean. This is the second time we have stayed here and would stay again.
Tea and Coffee facilities in the room would have been nice

The main positive about BC Spa Hotel is the location. It is located right next to the river which runs through Dalyan. Due to this location, the mountains on the other side of the river can be viewed from the hotel, such as from the pool and from the room. The hotel being situated next to the river makes it really special, as you can sit and eat breakfast/lunch with a view of the river and mountains, which is very pretty. The location of the hotel in terms of distance to the town is also great, as you can walk everywhere in 10 minutes, like restaurants, shops, and the boats that you catch to travel along the river. The hotel is also very quiet as there are no loud restaurants/bars nearby.
One aspect of the hotel that we were very happy with was the spa. We were gifted a hammam treatment and massage by a friend, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very relaxing, and the staff were excellent and so friendly. Due to it being a gift, I do not know the prices and how expensive it is, but I think it would be worth a treatment there if you are staying at the hotel.
There were many broken items in our room such as the air conditioning, the TV, the fan in the bathroom, the fridge, the clothes horse, the wardrobe doors, the shower. This meant we were constantly having to ask reception to fix things in our room, resulting in us not having a very smooth or relaxing stay. Additionally, there was supposedly a leak from our room to the room downstairs, so we had to move rooms in the middle of our holiday, which was far from ideal. We had unpacked everything at this point, so it was a big pain to have to move all our items and suitcases to another room. You would think that with this many problems we had, the staff would be apologetic and doing everything they can to help fix the errors, but the customer service from nearly every staff member was appalling. They had attitude, and didn't seem like they wanted to make our stay the best possible.
We needed pool towels to sit by the pool and go for a swim, but when we asked for some at reception, we were told there were none available, and there would be some ready in 3 hours. Not only is this unacceptable, but they didn't offer us any shower towels that they give out for the rooms, which meant we had to ask a cleaner who was happy to give us 2 towels. It is as though the staff do not care about making their customers have the best experience possible.
We ate breakfast on the first morning, but did not enjoy it at all. The room the food is kept in is extremely hot (hotter than outside!), and it is full of flies, which is very unhygienic. As Turkish people, we could tell that this food was not of a very high standard. Therefore, we did not eat the breakfast at the hotel again, but found lots of other places in the town that were excellent and very cheap, such as Kral Bahce Cafe, and also Altin Tava Cafe for amazing gozleme (Turkish pancakes).
A friend who has been visiting Dalyan for decades says BCSpa has changed drastically in the last 2yrs; it was never like this before!

Breakfast good. Wifi in room did not work. Great location and easy walk into town. Staff very helpful and kind.
Would be nice if one of the pools was adult only and one dedicated to kids.

Location, coziness and comfort. Nice terrace (in duplex) and powerful AC on both floors. Very friendly staff - both at hotel, spa and bar
Breakfast goes below any positive grading

Nice and lovely welcoming! Staff was very calm and very friendly!
Breakfasts was quite average, if you're 15 minutes delayed you're not getting served anymore and not even able to get morning coffee.. instead you have to go to restaurant and order a small size very poor quality coffe for £2.50 per cup...
Rooms was quite good and look lovely, however on evenings you can see lots of mosquitoes and tarracans around your room and even in bed which actually slightly might scare you away!
There was 2 outdoor swimming pool, one of them was quite dirty but second one was ok! There was also small pool for kids!
For early check up we have to charge extra £20 agreed price instead of half days price, even if you're 3 hours earlier....
But overall nice quite area with great view on mountains

Lovely hotel-great potential. Loads of character, beautiful setting. Will be great in the Summer.
We booked a 3 night stay at the BC Spa because our friends were there for a week and we had other friends staying nearby. They had previously stayed there in the Summer and were very complimentary, hence why we chose to go. We arrived and the hotel which looked typically Turkish and characterful which is why we booked to go there. We were greeted at reception and told we had a free upgrade to the jacuzzi room. En route to our room, we could see that the Hotel had a lot of work going on, you could hear the tile cutters and everything was covered in dust. We met with our friends who had been there a few days already and they said that they were unable to sit on their terrace as the dust and noise was so bad (the husband is asthmatic). They said that he couldn’t put up with it anymore as he said it felt like a vice was on his chest so he requested a room change and the Hotel Staff immediately relocated them to a room near us overlooking the water. One thing we also noticed was that in the rooms that were being updated, the mattresses were still in there, stood up, uncovered and sitting in the dust and dirt. It’s likely that these were going back on the beds once the room was completed as they looked fairly new (I hope I’m wrong). Breakfast was a little disappointing. It was served between 8-10am and we usually arrived about 9.15. There were empty trays that were not replenished and on one of the days we were asked if we wanted an omelette which was lovely but we weren’t asked again which is a shame. Everything was half-hearted.
We were checking out on the Wednesday and our friends had made the decision to check out too and move hotels because they hadn’t slept (constantly coughing all night).
It’s such as shame as I know The BC Spa is a beautiful hotel in the summer. We should have been told when we made our booking that there was building work going on. We definitely wouldn’t have booked here if we knew.

kitchen staff were nice.
We booked a jacuzzi room for £750 for 7 days and the water was freezing cold. We told the hotel staff upon arrival yet they failed to replace the room/fix the water and heaters. Receptionist who covered night shifts was very rude and hostile. We had been complaining for 4 days about the hot water and heating problems and asked him if he could give us another room yet he said we should have come earlier..when we had already complained 4 days in a row. We ended up paying £300 and booking our flights 3 days early and leaving.
A heated indoor pool and sauna was mentioned in the description which is one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. Yet upon arrival we were told there was “technical issues” so we were unable to make use of these facilities.

We stayed at the hotel for our daughter's wedding. Of course, expectations were high. The hotel met all these expectations!

The staff were generally good, and the hotel is in a pleasant location beside the river. The food was simple and perfectly acceptable but we only ate breakfast there a couple of times as it was more fun to walk into Dalyan (5 minutes)
I booked the 'best' room for a few days as a surprise for my partner's birthday. The room had a jacuzzi in it and two small bottles of water in the fridge when we arrived. Not a single cup, glass or plate anywhere (I don't bother about tea-making facilities but if you need your cuppa you'll be disappointed). The room was extraordinarily bare. The toilet was behind a large glass screen directly in front of the bath. Any occupant is clearly visible from everywhere in the room thanks to the many mirrors there. If you're a shy couple, this room is NOT for you! The jacuzzi was pleasant but took ages to fill and, even in August, the solar water heating could only manage to get the water luke warm.
To cut to the chase, the proprietors clearly want guests to buy *everything* from the hotel during their stay, with signs forbidding anything being brought in. The lack of...well, anything in the rooms other than the bare fittings and a couple of spare pillows belies their pretension that this is a 'luxury' resort. You can do much better.

Fabulous location on the river and just 2 mins walk to the restaurants and town. Nice room with terrace by the pool for us, very good value bar and restaurant, spa is wonderful and very reasonably priced and the staff are welcoming and very friendly.
The view from my children's room wasn't great, it was at the back of the hotel and overlooked rubbish. I am hugely disappointed with the price increase for next year, it has literally tripled in price for the same week we had this year.

fantastic location, we stayed in the Duplex rooms which
were perfect for us giving us a lounge down stairs with a
a small fridge & sink.
The reception staff were always very helpful especially
Onur - always happy to help with anything. The spa offers
amazing treatments which are so reasonable definitely
a must.
Thank you.
Nothing not to like - the only thing I would say is maybe
new lounger cushions wouldn’t go a miss as they looking a
little tired.

It is very close to dalyan centrum.
Facility needs more maintenance. It was good 5 years before but in 2022 not.
Also cleaning is very big issue in the property. Breakfast is poor and the guy in the breakfast are is not trying to be nice.
Generally, they can try to be clean, and kind for customers. They should work on it.

The bar staff at excellent, they cannot do enough for you although sometimes there is a language barrier. The management were hopeless. at check in they wouldn’t help because their man on the desk had disappeared for 5 minutes and we got the impression checking someone in was beneath them. The spa staff were fabulous, they couldn’t do enough to help and gave great advice. However, they didn’t have copies of the menu and told me to ask at the hotel reception to get a copy made, again the man on reception was not there so the ‘manager’ came out from the office and huffed at me I explained that the spa said they would be able to do it for me. Management gave the impression they didn’t care about customer service.
please see above plus breakfast was terrible, no juice had to ask for it and then was charged. no omelette or fresh cooked food station available. sunbed cushions are filthy

Stayed at the BC Spa Hotel and had a lovely time. The staff were always friendly and helpful; from reception, bar, restaurant and cleaners. The spa was amazing with the Turkish bath and wonderful massages. The food was lovely with a varied menu and could eat outside, overlooking the river, the rooms were so clean, spaceous with lots of storage. Location was great, only a 5 minute walk into town. I would highly recommend staying at the BC Spa Hotel.
