The house was beautiful and perfect. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone going to Scotland.

The weather turned out better than we expected. We were able to enjoy the outside table and beautiful grounds on numerous days. The location was excellent and we all enjoyed walking the trails to Drymen. The surrounding towns were spectacular as were all the people we met.

What an amazing, beautiful, and comfortable home. Our family of 7 only spent 2 nights at this fantastic property, but we lived every minute. The caretakers were so helpful and kind, giving lots of great local info that helped us make the most of our short visit. The layout of the house was perfect for our group - lots of space for the cooks to converse with the others without getting in anyone's way. We loved the abundance of high quality cookware, dishes, utensils, and bar ware. The bedrooms were so spacious and comfortable with lovely furnishings and great showers. Not a single complaint from anyone in our group. The grounds are particularly lovely - so nice to have coffee on the patio with the birds chirping and flowers blooming. I whole heartedly recommend this lively property. The next time we visit this area, we will definitely stay here again, but for much longer.

This property is located in a quiet secluded neighborhood but within walking distance to Drymen. A creek runs through the front yard and the house is spacious with plenty of room for relaxing. We spent time exploring the Loch Lomond area as well as just having some downtime to read and spend time as a family. A great property if you are wanting a nice quiet retreat.

The arrangements for staying at the accommodation were well thought through and Heather and her husband were incredibly accommodating. We have an incredibly comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings.

Blown away by the house and grounds. Very peaceful.There's so much space in the house. Perfect entertaining house. It has all the essentials you expect. Highly recommended.

Also has a small park area (swing, trampoline, slide) in the garden, which my Daughter loved.Short and scenic walk in to Drymen village over the fields (on a tarmac path).Drymen Village itself has a very good Butchers, a couple of food shops and 3 maybe 4 pubs (some as part of a hotel) that do food takeaway. Unfortunately we couldn't go in the pubs due to Covid lockdown.Lovely house with 3 log burners. We went through about 20 bags of wood! :-). Great kitchen area and would be perfect for larger families / groups. It was still great for just the 4 of us.Host and check-in service was very good also.

Beautiful home with lots of room. So comfortable and quiet. There was everything you would need. We loved our walks into Drymen on the path and it was the perfect base for some day trips. A great week!

Our family of 5 loved this beautiful home in Drymen. It was the perfect location for visiting all the nearby castles and historic sites and a peaceful place to return to at the end of the day.

We loved it! It was so peaceful and fit the eight of us perfectly! Hard to find a great house with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Lots of room to spread out in the house. It was a once in a lifetime trip for us. So wonderful to have the whole family under one roof. Make sure and go into Drymen and eat at The Clackan. Wonderful food. Make a reservation though.

We stayed at Strathendrick House as a family for a wedding held in Killearn. The house was perfect for our family of 8 - Mum, Dad and the married adult children. The house is very comfortable and was exactly as billed on the Home Away website. We would happily return.

We had a fantastic time staying in Drymen. Although the house was a bit difficult to find once we were there it was perfect in every way.

Perfect holiday house for two families to relax. This is our second visit and it was even better than the last (the new layout is fantastic). The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need, and is so spacious. The outside space is incredible and the children loved the trampoline, swings, playing football and paddling in the stream. It was the perfect location for an Easter egg hunt too. The information you receive in advance about the house and its surroundings is fantastic, and the owner and housekeeper are very helpful too. Great location for trips to Loch Lomond, Queen Elizabeth forest park, Loch Ard, Balloch country park, Luss including the amaxing Coach House tearoom, Edinburgh zoo and horse riding at Duncryne. Drymen is walking distance and the Oak Tree Inn at Balmaha was great. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Stayed here for a family wedding and couldn't have asked for more . The open plan area downstairs meant we could all be together and yet loads of space for us all so we didn't feel we were on top of each other . The bedroom downstairs was perfect for my mum who is unable to go upstairs and having an en-suite attached was a bonus for her . The house is full of character and clean and tidy . The garden had an area for the children to play in . The house had all we needed and more and Hector and Heather made things very easy if we needed any help with anything . We certainly would love to come back and stay and take in the surrounding area.

Ideal for our short break which was very restful. House and facilities are excellent whatever the weather and we enjoyed walks into Drymen and up to the golf course. Heather and her son were very welcoming and helpful.

We loved hanging out in the big open-plan kitchen-dining-living room. It was also really nice to be able to walk around in the beautiful garden and enjoy the surroundings. It was the perfect place to recuperate before and after the wedding :) Thank you very much!

A perfect house for a group weekend getaway! The living space was amazing - a big open and well equipped kitchen, large dining room table and multiple living areas. All looking out on a beautiful view. The double rooms were especially spacious and the whole house was spotless and well set up for our arrival. Arriving and departing was made very easy with support from Heather and Hector. The house was well located - just a short walk through the estate to Drymen. I could not more highly recommend Strathendrick House.

The house is really fantastic. Full of character and everything you could possibly need. Great entertaining space. Spotlessly clean. Also a great location - only a 10 minute walk from Drymen. We would definitely stay here again. We loved it.

Three families, comprising three children (4yr old girl from Norway, 9 year old boy from Edinburgh, 12 year old girl from Edinburgh) and six adults (two from Norway) shared the house for a few days in October 2018. We had a wonderful time in the house which is ideally set up for a family type stay and with excellent and appropriate facilities. The furnishings are individual, tasteful and robust enough for family occupation. It is also big enough for 9 guests to not feel crowded in the house. There is also the garden which delighted the children especially having a river running along the boundary and the extensive grass area for running around. The playpark facilities were not much used because there was so much else for them to do. The wider area of the Loch Lomond national park has excellent facilities for hiking, boating , eating even in late season October.

This is a lovely house, with beautiful grounds, in a scenic area of Scotland. Easy access to many tourist sites. Property was spotless, comfortable and enjoyed by our entire family. Some minor issues, which were addressed promptly. Only negative was intermittent internet service.
