Zeer vriendelijke en hulpvaardige ontvangst

Hotel is “ vergane glorie “. Niet mooi gelegen. Ontbijt zeer schraal, slechte koffie. Avondmaal heel goedkoop, maar kwalitatief ook beneden alle peil. Veel tijd verloren aan check-out, lange rij, slechts één hostess.

Aardig personeel, rustige kamer, heerlijk en betaalbaar restaurant

45 minuten lopen van het centrum, 15 van het strand. Bedjes bij zwembad nog opgeborgen

Location could be better

Loved the breakfast and the super friendly and helpful reception staff. The restaurant evening meal offers quite good value for money and we loved sitting outside in the patio area eating there. We walked with ease to the beach (15 minutes) which has an amazing view over Gibraltar. Parking was great. I loved our room we were upgraded to a junior suite and we did have a balcony which I loved - I wouldn’t have liked to stay here if we didn’t have a balcony and I don’t think all the rooms do.

I didn’t really like the swimming pool which was small and always busy and located near a busy roundabout. Also didn’t like the location very difficult to drive around.

An ordinary, mediocre hotel to stay only for a few days when passing through - certainly not more. The rooms are clean. The staff is pleasant, polite.

When booking, it says that the rooms have a balcony - but there was no balcony. Disappointment. A view from a small window to someone's unkempt yard. I don't think you've ever had such a horrible breakfast. Scrambled eggs burnt the two days we were there and how do they manage to make the food so tasteless? The food selection is very meager, you can only dream of fresh food - not a single tomato or cucumber slice. They don't bring more food, you have to ask and even then it takes a lot of time. I don't consider myself picky about food at all, but I couldn't eat it in this hotel.
