Some staff were excellent, for example Lu who served breakfast …..others needed major retraining …. Some seem to act as if the customers are doing them a favour by being there …. Particularly some of the reception staff are bad

- staff, very friendly and helpful - this is the big plus of this hotel, staff helped us a lot by organizing our trip, giving good advices, printing our tour tickets, organizing snack and drink to meet and share feedback on the hotel, giving those small attentions that make the difference! - location in the heart of Ipanema, 1min from the beach - complementary bikes for 2h - clean hotel and room - breakfast (a la carte) - the little sweet left on our bed by the end of the day :)

Not big issues, only minor: - water getting supet warm suddenly - wifi connexion in the room - small room (if you have 2 big suitcases! Else it is OK)

A bit expensive

Location was great, generally good value for money. Good breakfast.

Construction work on the neighbouring building was very loud and made it impossible to stay in the room.

We stayed twice in Ipanema Inn and enjoyed our stay. the hotel has an excellent location in Ipanema with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. the breakfast served is delicious and something you would expect from a fancy brunch cafe rather than a hotel. staff is very helpful and friendly.

Our rooms were quite small and a bit outdated but beds are very comfy. When leaving to go to the airport, it took forever to order a cab and we then had to get one on the street, which was a complete rip-off (drove in the wrong direction, on purpose into a traffic jam, then forced us to pay 4x the rate which we had to accept since we were in a hurry). I think it would be good for the hotel to warn people not to take taxis on the street or organise a transport. obviously not the hotel’s fault but good to inform tourists about this.

location and breakfast were perfect. Bikes and beach umbrellas and chairs for free were a nice addition.

we had bed bugs in our room.. and we got a new room without any problem! but I felt that staff didn’t get the seriousness of the problem because when we shared this with the managers, they were so relaxed about it :D

Location of the hotel was perfect, just one block from the beach. Breakfast was splendid, with late availability for almost 2pm and delicious food. Special thanks to the Staff, super pro-active!

I loved the ambiance, the colors, the music, the restaurant, and the rooms and toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. It was close to great stores and very nice restaurants. i will certainly come back

The room was a good size, well maintained, and the food was lovely. It was a great location! The perfect place for a short stay in Rio. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Victor & Miguel at reception are so lovely and a huge asset for the hotel. They helped us to book our trips to Cristo Redentor and the Sugarloaf. The staff who served us for breakfast and dinner were also really nice!

The reception staff and kitchen staff are wonderful- so helpful and lovely! The breakfast is incredible and the hotel feels very safe- they have security at night and on a nice street. The towels and free sunbeds are also great- stop looking and just book!

The rooms are quite small and the view was just an old building. I think for the price you pay, to have a safe hotel with good facilities it makes up for the room.

it’s a cozy place, nice location, good customer service, good amenities. The breakfast is good and complete. the staff is always smiling.

Some technologies could be updated: local TV to digital signal, USB ports, intelligent elevators.
