This little cottage was sparkling clean & wonderfully stocked, and made for a lovely getaway in Wellfleet. Our family of four fit nicely into the space. Mary Ellen was very responsive and helpful, and made sure we applied for our beach parking pass in time!

Our stay was absolutely delightful. The cottage was clean, Mary Ellen was prompt to reply and very helpful with any questions that we had. The location was perfect-close to Great Pond which was just magnificent and perfect for our two boys, to town, and to the bayside and ocean beaches. The cottage is small but has everything we needed. We especially enjoyed reading and playing games in the three season room, and the coziness of the loft bedroom. We can’t wait to be back!

We had such a wonderful stay. The cottage has a beautiful yard which is the perfect place to relax and listen to the birds. The owner is so nice and very welcoming. The location is perfect in getting to the beach or the restaurants on rte 6. We will definitely be back next year.

We have stayed at many VRBO properties in Florida and the Cape. This was perfect for me and my husband..loved the close drive to the beaches and everything we cared about was so close. Cottage was just great. Clean, comfortable and well appointed. Can't say enough about the place. Already booked for fall of 2018!

We loved the cottage. It was spotless!!! The house is so cozy and accommodating. They even had beach chairs for us to use. Private enough to feel like you've escaped, but close enough to everything. Enjoy.

First time trying a rental and loved the experience. Will definitely do it again. The property is brand new, has all the amenities needed for a getaway. Very comfortable and in a great location.

This was our second stay at the cottage and we loved it. The space is perfect for a small family and is centrally located to everything. Well maintained - clean, comfortable house. Easy walk to PJs (think lobster roll) and bike ride to pond or beach. Great communication with owner.

Back for our third stay at the Post and Beam Cottage and again, we felt welcomed back by Mary Ellen with open arms (literally) and a bottle of wine in the fridge for us! We LOVE it here and will stay for a week every June and look forward to coming back. It is a piece of heaven on earth. There is just something about Wellfleet and this magical cottage. If I could clone it, I would! :) But since I can't do that, I just take comfort in knowing for a week in June I will be back to the best place on earth. Can't wait to come back!!

My family has stayed at this charming summer cottage in Wellfleet for the past two years. We so enjoy the post and beam cottage, close proximity to the beautiful beaches and ponds. And, of course Wellfleet, which is full of artisans, great food and the opportunity to sail from the pier. One of my favourite things, is the beach lifestyle; it's a welcome retreat from our hectic city lifestyle. Enjoy ~

I loved every minute at the Cape Cod Summer House and Cottage. I was actually in the Cottage with my daughter's family while the rest of my family was next door in the big house. We had all our meals together. Great place for a large family time. It really is well located near the beaches, ponds, and walking distance to the town of Wellfleet. We were able to experience life on the Cape just like a local. From clamming on the beaches in the early morning dawn, lobster fest in the evening at Coon Hollow beach, swimming in the ponds: it was all so lovely. My favorite was walking to the harbor via a very scenic trail across the "Uncle Tim's" bridge. One of the days I saw a very large turtle, while another day the thousands of sand crabs migrating to drier land as the tide came in. Nature and gardens along the way were all part of this charming walk. Being from California, we don't experience the coast this way. Its so much more congested on California beaches. ( And I live near the beach in CA). Here it was peaceful, restful, GREEN and full of time to explore and visit with family and friends. The cottage front deck was my favorite spot to sip a glass of wine and soak in all the beauty around me.

We came back for another week visit to Wellfleet and truly feel this is our Home Away from Home. There is just something about being in a really nice and cozy cottage for the week and knowing you are in a great area of town. I wish I could live here year round, I love it that much! I really do think this is the perfect place to stay as a couple. The outdoor shower, the exposed beam and wood, the cuisinart pots and pans (which I ended up purchasing online after using them at the cottage) the awesome dishwasher is a luxury I don't have in my life but I do on vacation and I love it. I love it all! We feel like we found our forever vacation home! See you next year! :)

This cute cottage is tucked in the woods in a very quiet spot and yet convenient to Route 6 and all the ocean beaches and ponds. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and there is a lovely outdoor shower. I enjoyed eating breakfast in the sun room with the windows open so I could feel the breeze. The owner very conveniently supplied 4 beach chairs, the new kind with straps so that they can be carried on one's back. The beds were very comfortable which is always a plus.

Words cannot describe how absolutely perfect your summer cottage is!...you did a superb job!...you have left no stone unturned in here! We fell in love with it the minute we walked in!! It is impeccably clean, comfortable and cozy. It has all the conveniences of home and then some! It is close to all that the wonderful town of Wellfleet has to offer. The owner is an absolute pleasure to deal with, and she is very concerned about making your vacation the best it can be!! We are coming back next year and can't wait! Simply, our favorite place to stay on the Cape. Perfect for us! I look forward to being a regular here each summer! My fiance was looking for a place to rent for a week on the Cape in the summer. We fell in love with Wellfleet while taking a day trip there last year. He found this wonderful place in the dead of winter while looking online. We booked in February and finally our week came in June. This is place is perfect. It is small, but big! It is very clean and simple. It has everything you'd want. I can't say enough good things about our favorite place!!! I wish it was mine to keep, but it's nice to know that I have a place to go every single year now.

Great stay at a nice house, between the beaches/Ponds and the town of Wellfleet. The rental process was very smooth with the owner and all delivered as promised. The house is new and contains a small kitchen as well as a nice 3 season porch. The layout both downstairs and upstairs are single rooms with an open floor plan. It is best to have a vehicle if staying at this house as it is a mile to the town of Wellflleet and a few miles to the ponds/beach. Great vacation spot for our family of three.

Very clean and comfortable cottage in a very quiet neighborhood. The interior is adorable. Very nice location as it is only 30 minutes from Provincetown and only a minute up the road to a beautiful ocean beach or,if you prefer, a fresh water pond for swimming. Fantastic restaurants in the area. We enjoyed everything about our stay except we would have liked to have had the bathroom upstairs in the bedroom to prevent going down the stairs at night. But to most guests this will not be a problem . Great set up for a couple or a couple with two children.
