My husband and I stay here for our honeymoon and it was perfect. A very cute cottage with plenty of things to do within walking distance. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Schoolhouse Cottage provided the perfect setting for our 20th anniversary getaway. Nestled within walking distance of practically anything you’d like to eat or drink but still drive into Charleston to sightsee. Lauren, Megan & Justin go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable while staying with them!

This is really a beautiful town with wonderful people. My wife and I visited the area researching over 55 retirement communities. Everyone we met was truly helpful and friendly. Planning another trip in the near future and would definitely book another stay. We are feeling really good about one day relocating to the area.

Great cozy cottage with historic details and charm. Clean place to come back to in the evening after excursions in the Charleston and coastal areas. Easy to find and access was simple upon arrival. Also pleased with several of the host recommended restaurants in Summerville.

Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our end of summer weekend getaway in the Schoolhouse cottage. It was a perfect mix of relaxation and discovering a new town. Quiet at night and comfy bed. Thanks for the coffee and cream. Loved that we were in walking distance of everything in town! We enjoyed the farmer’s market and the Sweet Tea Festival. We really enjoyed watching everyone enjoying life. It was refreshing to be in a town where we could feel free again. Enjoyed eating at local restaurants for our meals and could bring leftovers back to warm up later. Also enjoyed shopping at some local stores as well as at the various vendors in town at the festival and market. The backyard outdoor space was relaxing to sip coffee or wine in the evening. Everything was so clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The communication with the property owners was easy. Love the ease of coming and going with keyless entry, park the car and walk everywhere, or simply staying in to spend quiet time together. Thank you for your hospitality!

Our stay at the schoolhouse cottage couldn't be better. The close proximity to the downtown area made everything within a short walking distance. The cottage was clean and nicely furnished.

We had family in for Thanksgiving and needed extra space!! The SchoolHouse cottage was just what we needed. It was the perfect place and very close in proximity to everything Summerville.

We rented this beautiful, quiet property to visit local friends for the 4th of July. The schoolhouse is cozy, clean and the bed is very comfortable! The full kitchen is modern with a keriug coffee pot. Cute clawfoot tub in the bathroom. I would highly recommend the schoolhouse! This is our second time renting and will certainly be back!

You are literally a hop, skip, and a jump to everything downtown. We were there over the weekend, and we were able to just walk a hundred yards to the downtown market. As for the cottage, it was very nice and cozy. My only complaint is the bathroom is small, but I’m 6’8”, so that’s more me than the room itself. The cottage was great, and we’d definitey stay again!

We highly recommend this property. So many great places within walking distance! So cute & clean. We would definitely stay here again!
