Close to a fantastic bakery. Supermarket, restaurants, chemists and shops all nearby. Everything is within walking distance.

-Really outdated. Needs modernising. -Mattresses on bunk bed old, dip in/ curve in. Bedding and mattresses very dusty. -The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and rocked back and fourth when moving positions when trying to sleep. -The hallway to the apartment has a horrible stale smell -Bathroom is tiny, shower is ridiculously tiny. There was cobwebs above the bathroom mirror. - We was advised to transfer damage deposit a day before arriving which blew my mind. We was advised people from England leave the place a mess with bottles everywhere. (so rude to assume we would do the same as we’re from England) -We did not receive deposit back until 21 days after we arrived back home. - No remote control for the tv…(we have 2 children 1 year old and 3 year old who want to watch tv) cleaning company helped us to look for it on arrival…it was not found..we was given a new remote 3 days later upon request. We found the old remote a day before we was leaving. We left the remote near the tv and the cleaning company was rude and asked us why we requested a new remote (which did not even work btw) We advised that we found the remote under the sofa bed and that previous guests left it there. - we left the apartment clean when checking out, we left 2am to catch our flight early from Geneva. We was tired and busy with 2 kids and forget to put the sofa bed back and we did not put 3 dishes away in the cupboard. We was charged extra €30 euros for this. Which is not fair at all. -the floor was dirty so I don’t know what the cleaning company cleans. - it was easy to contact the owner and get a response but we had to communicate more with the cleaners to get our deposit back etc -a lot of noise from the pizza restaurant below from 4pm-11pm. It was impossible to sleep until after 11pm. The apartment needs to be soundproofed…we heard chairs etc being moved all night long.

The location was perfect! Close to the shops, bakery and Super Chatel ski lift.

The shower was a tad bit small.. it was ok for my kids and me but my husband struggled with it.

The location is excellent. Just above the ski rental, bakery 100 meters, Ski lift and ski bus 200 meters. South facing balcony. Excellent price/quality ratio.

A dryroom would have been great. We had a week with wonderfull weather, so we were lucky. I can imagine if the weather is not so good, drying boots and clothes can be a struggle. We were struggling in communication with the Owner, becouse our French was not good enough. A bad phone line made it even harder. Difficult to make an appointment to pick up the keys. Made us nervous, but we managed in the end.

Small but good appartment in the center of Chatel. Bakery, small supermaket and restaurants all nearby. few minute walk to the bus stop to get to the skilifts. Apparment is very well equipped. Host was very helpfull and fixed a broken bathroom light the same day.

The appartment is a bit small so i wouldn't advise to go with 4 adults. The bunk beds (aprox 190cm) are quite small too, so ok for kids or small adult but not for the average adult. The sofa bed is fine, but have had more comfortable ones.
