This was our 4th visit - a "home from home" apartment which is clean, light and in a perfect location. It's absolutely wonderful and we had another fabulous holiday - looking forward to the next visit already!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment, it was centrally located and it made accessing the beach and old town very easy as well as a short walk to the bus, tram and Nice Ville train station. We did not rent a car or bikes during our stay and once we got up to speed on the changes with the transit (all new apps and schedules at the beginning of July 2023) we were able to navigate our way around without too much trouble. The apartment was clean and tidy and the abundance of fans was very welcome as it was very hot in Nice during our stay. The building is in good condition and the surrounding area seemed very safe, we routinely came back from the train station or beach late and never had any concerns. The full kitchen was well equipped and the clothes washer was very helpful when packing light and needing to wear clothes more than once on a trip. We would definitely stay at this apartment again in the future. Thanks.

We loved staying in this apartment! It has everything you need for a short or long term stay. Katherine greeted us upon arrival and gave us a thorough tour of the property. She was very responsive to us during our stay and made every effort to make sure that we had everything that we needed. The apartment is updated and centrally located. This apartment is centrally located and quite spacious. Great communication with host. Pictures are accurate. Lots of local information given too. It was very hot when we stayed but fans in all rooms were helpful. We loved our stay. Thankyou for having us.

We had a wonderful month stay in Nice and Mary's apartment is the perfect choice in the perfect location. Katherine is wonderful as well making sure we our arrival and exit went smoothly. Mary and Katherine provide you with so much helpful information about the apartment and Nice that you feel at home from the start. The apartment on the 1st floor with an elevator is roomy and comfortable with wonderful sunlight that streams in making it light and airy. So much of what you want to see in Nice is within walking distance or a tram ride away. You are a block from Promenade du Paillon, a wonderful walkway that takes you to Place Massena and to the Mediterranean in 10 to 15 minutes. Also closeby are grocery stores and restaurants and 10 walking minutes from Place Massena and shopping along Ave Jean Medecin. The old town, vieux Nice, is an easy access across Prom du Paillon with many restaurants and shops. My favorite was walking along the Promenade des Anglais and the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Always some entertainment to be had including piano players, singers, musicians and even a ballet class on Place Massena and Prom des Anglais. We like to travel by train when in Europe and the station was a short walk and tram ride away which made it nice when we traveled to surrounding towns near Nice. My husband and I fell in love with Nice and had a lovely relaxing time there. We hope to return to Nice and Marys apartment in the not to distant future. Thank you Mary and Katherine.

Lovely centrally situated apartment with everything you might need.

This is our third stay at Mary's apartment and yet again we had the most fabulous holiday!! As I have stated before the apartment is like "home from home" - it's so comfortable, with everything you need (dishwasher tablets, additional bedding, toilet rolls, dustbin bags etc) and plenty of space for a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 teenagers). The location of the apartment is just perfect - near the shops. beach, old town, transport links etc and within a very safe neighbourhood (the teenagers could come and go as they pleased). Mary is an excellent host, accommodating our date change due to our flight being cancelled, responding to questions quickly and efficiently. Katherine is an absolute gem, she is so helpful, with a wealth of knowledge of Nice and the surrounding area. I simply can't wait to go back :)

In spite of the "canicule" we thoroughly enjoyed our month-long stay in this lovely apartment. Prior to our arrival, communication with Mary, the host, was so easy that we already felt welcome even before the actual welcome by Katherine, the property manager. Previous guests have already written about all the great qualities & features of the apartment so we will just list our own best ones: 1. Location - 2 short blocks to Multari, the boulangerie where we bought our favorite baguette (la fendue) everyday. Below the apartment is an Italian deli that offered the best ready-made lasagna, a good selection of proseccos, salamis, & many other foods. Walking distance to Old Town, the port, the beach, Place Massena, Promenade des Anglais, tram s& bus tops, restaurants & bars. markets (Utile & Carrefour) 2. The Dyson air coolers were a blessing during this summer's heat wave! 3. The apartment's kitchen was fully equipped - so important during a long stay. Thank you, Mary & Katherine, for making us feel at home in Nice.

My husband, 2 sons (ages 17 and 22) and I spent a lovely holiday here. The apartment is very conveniently located for Nice old town 5 mins walk away. The beach is about 10 mins walk. The bus, tram and train are also easy to get to, so you can explore the area. Villefranche sur Mer has a lovely beach only 5 mins by train. Monaco and Cannes are only 15-20 mins by train. Trains could be very busy at certain times (end of July) so plan your trips. There are supermarkets close by and many places to eat out within a few minutes walk. The apartment is in a nice old building and is clean and well equipped. It was very hot when we were there but the Dyson fans work well along with the shutters. This is a city apartment so there is a certain amount of noise to be expected. It didn't bother us. We would certainly stay here again if we go back to Nice.

The owner and manager were both very responsive and there is a folder with tons of useful information. Just a few steps from Vieux Nice. Easy access to public transportation. Lots of light in the salon/kitchen of the apartment. We would love to stay here again.

Katherine welcomed us warmly upon our arrival (breakfast provisions, coffee, bottle of wine ;) and was always available for questions. What a sweetheart she is! This beautiful apartment is on the second floor (first floor in European terminology), in the corner of the building, thus windows on two sides. This means that Nice’s strikingly soft and beautiful light fills the apartment. The arrangement is open, with living/dining/and kitchen all sharing the well-designed large space. The furnishings are unusually comfortable for a rental and there is plenty of lighting for the evenings. There are two bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom including a deep tub/shower with excellent water pressure. The other bedroom has a shower and sink ensuite, with the toilet and sink just outside the bedroom door so it can serve as a guest powder room. The neighborhood is in restaurant heaven. Also, it is a short walk to the tram, which will zip you right from the airport (and sadly, back again) in a half hour. It is about a 5 to 10 minute walk to most everything else - Vieux Nice, Place Garibaldi, Place Masséna, the shopping-walking street Jean Medicin, the sea the glorious sea, outdoor markets and indoor grocery stores. My husband and I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We loved every minute of our time and cannot wait to return.

The apartment is very comfortable, attractively furnished and conveniently located. The owner provided lots of useful information about Nice (restaurant, cafes, public transport etc) and was kind enough to allow us ro stay an extra night when our train to Paris was cancelled. Highly recommended.

This was exactly as advertised. A perfect location to explore NICE. Easy to walk to wherever you want to go. Katherine met us when we arrived and was extremely helpful.

We stayed in this property for nine nights and could have happily stayed another nine. The apartment was clean and in a great area, an easy walk to the Old Town and convenient to trams, cafes, restaurants and The Promenade. The two bedrooms have both got ensuite facilities, great when you holiday with two teenage daughters. A wonderful time in Nice.

This was our second visit to the apartment and yet again we had an amazing time. Walking back into the apartment was like home from home-the apartment is so comfortable and spacious. The location is superb, walking distance to all Nice has to offer, as well as a great base to discover the beautiful French Riviera. Thank you Katherine and Mary!

Great location - you can walk just about anywhere, with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, art supply stores, grocery stores etc within 5-10 minutes away. The apartment has high ceilings and lots of windows so it feels spacious with an abundance of natural light. Well equipped. Katherine was an excellent host, responding quickly to any questions we had. Highly recommended.

Had a great stay at the apartment. Really easy to get to and from the airport without a car and location to the old town and promenade was perfect. Everything you need is at the apartment which has a nice corner aspect letting in light and feels airy.

We had a fabulous holiday in Nice, Staying in Mary's apartment. The apartment is located in a very safe area (our children could walk to and from the apartment) and is close to shops, restaurants, the Old town, beach as well as the buses & trams. The information send in advance of the stay was excellent, with instructions of how to travel to the apartment, restaurant recommendations (with contact details), ideas for days out along with instructions on how to get there etc etc - in fact I never left the apartment without it! The accommodation itself was lovely - bright, clean, spacious (plenty big enough for a family of 4) and we could hit the ground running as the flat was equipped with all the essentials - washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, milk, water, toilet rolls, umbrellas, parasols, maps etc so we literally could go straight to the beach without doing an "essentials" shop! I couldn't fault the accommodation and we would 100% stay there again - thanks Mary & Katherine.

We knew the area, so we just enjoyed revisiting favourite haunts.

This is our sixth trip to Nice, 3 hotels and 3 rentals. This was by far the best of them. On a map you might wonder about the location, but you are five minutes (maybe 8 to the beach) from everything, and I mean everything. There were only two of us so we luxuriated in the space. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms,( plenty of towels and linens) a fully newly renovated kitchen with a large sitting area plus dining area. We made side trips to Antibes and Eze and had public transportation right at our doorstep. (1.50 euro to ride the bus as far as it goes (Monaco)) and we took the train, 15 minutes to Antibes. Mary and Kathleen (her local agent) a delight to work with.

Our family of 3 adults shared this wonderful apartment in the centre of Nice for 9 days in the middle of peak season in the Cote d'Azur. Everything from the beginning to the end was perfect. The owner Ms Lynch was very easy to communicate with and her replies were always prompt and accurate. We were greeted by Christoph from the management service who was very accommodating and showed us the lovely apartment and allowed us to access it early which was great after a long journey from across the Atlantic. We had a few questions throughout our stay, which were promptly answered and we felt we had someone to turn to when we needed to. Everything was as shown in pictures and described on the VRBO website and even more spacious than we expected. The many windows made the lighting of the space so lovely we could understand why so many painters had their ateliers nearby - the everlasting sunshine makes one want to pick up a brush and paint or draw in the middle of the living room. We have traveled and stayed at many places across Europe and North America and we're very pleased that we again had an opportunity to enjoy the area more like locals and not like tourists. The location was superb - close to everything yet quiet and convenient for everyone to enjoy themselves. We particularly enjoyed the proximity to a great coffee place Ondine's and a lovely little patisserie-boulangerie just around the corner. We had some wonderful brunches at the apartment after buying some local delicacies at the nearby market. Fresh cheese and fruit, lovely warm baguettes which tasted heavenly. The added bonus of having air conditioning during the hot summer days made it easy to enjoy the stay. Even the washing machine turned out to be a blessing when we wanted to refresh our salt stained beach towels. The place was uncluttered and clean and well equipped with everything we needed to have a nice and relaxing holiday. We managed to park our car on the streets nearby without much difficulty and the area was very safe even late at night. Our only regret is that our stay was so short, so we will have to come back and spend more time exploring the beautiful coast. We would wholeheartedly recommend this apartment though we really would like to keep it a secret so that we can come back over and over! We had a great week in this apartment. It is very convenient for everything. The bus stop is a 5 minute walk ( past Matisses's old studio) and from there you can get to the airport as well as up to the museums in Cimiez. The beach is also only 10-15 minutes walk through the old town . Nice is an ideal base for the beach and for exploring the Cote d'Azure. We went to Antibes as well as to Italy and to Monaco. The apartment is comfortable, well equipped and was nice and cool during a hot spell of weather. The wifi is very efficient and there are handy local shops and restaurants.

This was a lovely apartment, really clean and fully equipped. We appreciated the choice of books and DVDs for evening entertainment. Claire and Christophe were most welcoming and informative and even allowed us into the apartment a couple of hours early. The location was very convenient and close to all amenities and transport links. We did find the air conditioning quite noisy and not entirely effective but it was July and quite hot outside. The fans provided were most welcome. We also did not quite manage to work the surround sound on the TV so the sound seemed quite muffled at times, especially when watching the DVDs. The beds were comfortable and the folders containing information about all the technology in the apartment were very helpful, as were those containing information about things to do and places to visit, although some of the leaflets were a bit out of date with regards to opening times and prices. We loved the spaciousness of the apartment and can also recommend the nearby boulangerie Multari for its very tasty croissants.

This apartment was in a perfect location as our home base for exploring Nice and taking day trips all around the surrounding area. It was neat and clean and well equipped with a functional kitchen, AC, internet/TV, laundry, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We were walking distance to bus lines, groceries, patisserie, restaurants and cafes, Old Town, and the beach. Only improvements we would suggest would be a larger bed in one of the bedrooms and a quieter AC unit.

We had a great few days in this apartment in Nice. It is a lovely space, very spacious with a great open plan eating and living area. It supplied everything that we needed, including extras such as umbrellas and sun shades.The location is fantastic, we walked everywhere. I would very much recommend it.

Bright, spacious, clean, well equipped in a great location. Very handy for old town and tram / bus stops. Brilliant base to explore Nice and the surrounding area (Antibes / Monaco / Saint Raphael etc.) Very friendly and helpful agents too. All good.

We loved this apartment -- just a block off the main park and a couple blocks to Old Town. It was clean and in great shape. Great neighborhood and a great place to explore from. We are a family of 4 and this apt fit us perfectly.
