Very good location. You can see the sea from the balcony if you look to the left. You can hear the sea often which we liked. Generally well equipped and cheerfully decorated.

Our room was over the piano bar. Most of the time this was not a problem as the music was pleasant and in the background. Fridays is disco night and goes on later and is can be more noisy. If someone is picking up the key from the key safe it would be good to mention that there is a light switch by the door!

In one word? Wonderful. In two words? Absolutely wonderful. This place is amazing. The room is big and very comfortable, with simple but well equipped kitchen, always clean. On the big balcony (with direct see view or view from the side) there are table, chairs and big bed. Under the apartments there is a piano bar. Almost every evening great live music is played (but really great - Spanish traditional, chanson, jazz & blues, ...) but never too late (around 11 PM is quiet). The restaurants on the promenade are great - good breakfast, snacks, dinners, perfect beer and coffee as well. This place is very quiet. The visitors just chill out - read, drink, enjoy. There is not a lot of children. The beach is so nice and clean. But there is not any opportunity to rent some umbrella or lounger.

The only thing we didn't like is the way how to get to Valle Gran Rey; from San Sebastian there is a small ferry (only 2-3 times a day) or you have to go by taxi and cross the island. But it is worth it!

Lovely large apartment with balcony which catches the afternoon/evening sun. Great location near the beach and walkable distance to watch the sunset on Playa de los inglés. Fantastic German bakery around the corner sells great range of sweet and savoury treats!

The apartment we stayed in was above the bar. This was fine for most nights as the music was turned off when expected.
