Location, vibe there, nature, close to magnificent Hale vilage park, river side, small forest. Sleeping very well. Hotel has a wonderful yard!!!

Bed was really comfy and I like the idea of putting fruits and self serviced breakfast.

Nothing that I can think of, weather was a bit harsh but that has nothing to do with the property.

I cannot remember last time when something impressed me so much… I had big expectations after going through the comments on booking.com but honestly what we got was much more. Gary and his wife are exceptional hosts, happy to provide you with anything you need, showing a pro-active and client oriented attitude. I will be visiting this place again for sure!

The owners of the hotel are very nice, kind, responsive people, I really liked the room, it has everything you need for living - a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, dishes, everything you need for breakfast. I am very grateful to the hosts for ordering me lunch, a beautiful comfortable bed, a magnificent, snow-white bedding set, I would like to stay there again! Near John Lenon Airport, only 5-7 min. I recommend it!

It was just so cosy and there was so much choice for cold breakfast and tea and coffee and milk for refreshments

Loved the village it was situated in with a good local pub serving good meals. Great continental breakfast and selection of drinks. Secure parking on site. Loved that there was some outdoor space and well lit at night.

A light over the gate entrance is badly needed. It's a fast road and the approach very dark. The room temperature is hard to control. It's an electric heater that is either on full blast or off.

There was a nice friendly welcome from Gary the owner, he was helpful and informative the location was perfect for us as we have family less than 10 minutes away

Was abit disappointed with breakfast as it was basically just cereals or fruit and yogurts. No cooked option

The tv control needed cleaning a small niggle rectified with a wipe

Lovely surroundings, quaint little set up. Rooms spacious and added touch of fridge, bits of food and everything to keep you for your stay, Tidy, clean and comfortable. Hosts friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Use of the gardens and added animals to observe an added extra.

It was only one night but it was an incredible experience. Lovely hosts, who are the ones truly responsible for the great experience. Kind, solicitous and humble people. The place is also very welcoming and family friendly. Will definitely recommend to anyone staying in the the surrounding area and will try to go back again and stay longer to really enjoy the quiet and comfort.

Nothing not to like. Maybe the fact I didn't book an extra night :D
