Quant wholesome pub, rooms did what they said on the tin. Nice to have hot chocolate with the tea and coffee in the room.

The Inn itself may need a little refurbishment in places but still a very comfortable pleasant atmosphere.

Location is excellent

So cold in the bar when having breakfast. Also the interior of the Byron could do redecorating as looking at walls which are flaking with paint is not ideal. Plus in room 1 the toilet does not flush properly.

Easy to find. Bedroom clean and warm and bed comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Home cooked food. Traditional style pub.

Had to swap an item to get an extra egg on the full breakfast. Felt it needed a little TLC. Seat covers ripped and outside a bit neglected.

Beautiful surroundings. The Inn is clean, warm and cosy. The staff were all friendly. The food was amazing. Breakfast was awesome- plenty of it and good quality ingredients. Will definitely be back.

Some larger towels would have been appreciated but ones that were supplied were sufficient for the task and a minor criticism.

There was something in the loft of the chalet but off putting Practical room No frills which was good for us The table was a little rickety so we didn't put much on it Cold in the evening put the bathroom heater on Garden needs tiding up

Staff great very helpful and food was excellent.

Shower rail loose on wall and head could not be agusted,lump in middle of matress.

Breakfast was a good. Room was a good size as was the bathroom. Aircon was a bonus. Free parking onsite The rooms are away from the main pub (only a few steps) which is ideal. The pub was great and we ate there too - Food was good pub fare. Short walk from the village of Grantchester - We walked in and they were filming the new series at the church Our main intention was a visit to Royal Papworth Hospital which is about a 20 minute walk away. Can't tell you how far to the city centre but it is only two minutes from a major bus route.

Bed was a little lumpy but didn't prevent me from having a decent sleep - Spent an hour or so in the Lord Byron pub before bedtime.
