I cannot rate Riad Matham highly enough, and it’s mainly because of Hisham the riad manager. His devotion to the Riad’s guests is unbelievable, and will do whatever he can to make your stay as wonderful as possible. The riad itself is beautiful, and a lovely breakfast is served every morning by friendly ladies. The location is good and Hisham had great recommendations for places to eat nearby.

Incredible service by manager Hicham; above and beyond what could be expected. Hammam and massage done in the riad were wonderful and convenient. Meals in riad were excellent including romantic dinner after arriving from a long day of travel.

We enjoyed this experience and are early risers, but If your goal is to sleep in late, a regular old hotel may be a better option. The call to prayer at dawn and birds chirping soon thereafter will wake you up early. It's a traditional riad with little soundproofing, but truly it is well worth it for most people.

The location was great, although a little tucked away. Hisham the manager was AMAZING, so kind and friendly. He picked us up from where our taxi was, sat us down when we came in and went through a map of the medina. He was always around if we ever needed anything. Other staff were super friendly too and we felt very welcomed.

- breakfast could be a lot better - the room we stayed in was quite small- ofc part of this is the charm of staying in a Riad but I hadn’t realised quite how small it would be when I booked. - we went in winter so it was quite drafty. The description says they have heating but we weren’t able to get what looked like the air conditioner to heat the room instead of cool it.

The breakfast was really nice and the friendly staff made it even better. The manager went beyond what needed doing to insure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Even medicine, chargers he helped where ever he could. We will remember them for ever! They made us feel safe and welcome.

We had a beautiful stay at Riad Matham, from the room, to the rooftop, to the breakfast, to the incredible staff - particularly Hicham! Thank you so much for a lovely stay, we will definitely be recommending!!!

The most nice thing was careful attention and attitude which started with organising transfer from and to airport and continued with advice and answer to all questions. Breakfast was excellent - with fruits and several kind of bread, served individual way. Beautiful riad with great view from the roof terrace. Great location - near crowded market streets but in very silent and calm corner.

Julien (day manager) and Hisham (night watchman) were both amazing - they were very helpful and friendly, nothing was too big of a task for them, they took their time in explaining the maps & locations. The cooks and cleaners were also very friendly and breakfast was always good.

Beautiful tranquil Riad in the Medina. Excellent service and wonderful staff, particularly Hisham who went over and above to make our stay memorable.

Nothing of any consequence. The towels were Hammam towels so may not be to everyone's liking.

Incredibly welcoming staff, very helpful and kind Lots of explanation and assistance. The Riad itself is very cozy. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the rooftop is really fantastic. Value for money is absolutely excellent.

The hosts are wonderful, we felt absolutely welcome from the moment we stepped in the door. They explained to us all the best places to visit and how to avoid getting lost, which was really helpful. The riad is beautiful and peaceful and the decor is spotless. Could not recommend this little haven more.
