Situated a short walk out of town with secure parking, lift and small balcony

Wonderful location just on the edge of historic Vannes. The apartment had everything we needed. A laundramat across the street allowed us to continue to travel with a full set of clothes. We visited the the Branfere Parc Animalier et Biologique. Wonderful place. No cages. The animals move about in spacious environments. It's clear that the animals are well cared for.

Everything worked as it should and having private parking was a big plus.

A very nice lady met us outside the apartment with the keys. The pull down bed was surprisingly comfortable. The location was excellent. Good shower and kitchen well equipped. Nice view of the church tower and quiet in room. Half a curtain hanging in living room/bedroom but electric window shutters ok.

Two days prior to the stay I was informed the latest check in was 4pm - two hours before that stated. The earlier time may have been a one off so check with owner. It mean't a less than leisurely pace on the autoroutes to get there in time. There's nowhere to stop directly outside the apartment block. We had to stop around the corner and my wife walked back to the block to find the lady with the keys. Not unreasonable for centrally located apartment.

No Fan. ( It was Hot). Poor Check In. It is a Murphy Bed.

The location was great for easy access from out of town and also on foot into the old town and port. Having secure parking was a massive bonus. The little balcony provided outside space which we appreciated.

There was nothing we didn’t like

The location was good. We had free parking. The hostess was very nice

We had no internet and our email to the owner for the password was ignored. The pillows were too hard. The boiler did not heat the water for a hot shower and the water pressure was non existent

The lady in charge of the rental is very friendly and service minded. Unfortunately she speaks no English and my French is poor. We found useful things in the kitchen which we did not need to buy, like dishwashing and cleaning detergents, plastic bags, spices and salt, cidre, ground coffee, some cookies for the first day. Very considerate! Location was perfect, just round the corner is a street leading up to the old centre. It has many café's and restaurants, foodstore is opposite the house and boulangier nearby. It is also within walking distance from the train station, convenient as we took the train to Nantes from Vannes.

The apartment was fine, kitchen well equipped. The only thing that was missing is a fan or airco as it was very hot. Keeping windows open at night also attracts mosquitoes if there is no fan.
