The staff were so helpful and accommodating. Food was amazing and presented well. Pool is so beautiful and location is 5 minute walk to beach.

We were a day late due to a cancelled flight but reception staff were easy to contact and stayed in touch with us throughout- Brilliant 24hr reception staff (they also helped us with an extra pillow and Landry service). The bar man Francisco was obviously a very experienced bar man and made delicious cocktails. Would highly recommended the pink gin fizz. The breakfast staff were very attentive and kept all the food fresh and well stocked. The property was clean and the kitchen meant we could have lunch on the balcony after a morning on the beach. Lastly the room was very comfortable - lovely big bed and temp could be controlled in the room so we slept well every night.

An iron would have been very useful, even one that can be borrowed from the reception, not necessarily in every room.
The bathroom, although generous in size, has a narrow tub and because of this the curtain always sticks to you when you shower. There is an inexpensive solution to fix the problem.

super clean and in a good location. we also managed to book the Benagil cave tour with the hotel so that was one less stress.
the breakfast was amazing. really good value and lots of things on offer. if you are eating in then the kitchen had everything, including pans.
the beach was also ten mins away which is amazing. very pretty beach too and didn’t have too many people when we went. it’s a bit of a walk away from the centre of portimao but that wasn’t an issue for us - Ubers are super cheap in Portugal.
didn’t really get to use the jacuzzi or the pool as they were busy and weren’t big enough to accommodate more than a handful of people.

Great breakfast, tipical english breakfast + a lot of delicious fruit + sweet pastry + cereal + cheese and ham and so on. I only missed vegetables. Super friendly staff in reception and restaurant made our stay great. Price for such service was extremely good. We liked that we had our kitchen which was well equipped. Pools were nice and clean. In the end of May, the outdoor pool was still quite cold (maybe 20-21 °C). The temperature of the indoor pool was perfect. We only had to buy swimming caps for 4 EUR.
The hotel is ca 400 m away from the Vau Beach. But the Vau Beach is beautiful and calmer than the Rocha Beach. So we liked it.

Clean and nice room. Breakfast is ok.
No wifi. And justification is "bad signal". Not restored even after complaints. Same for the batheoom. No shower soap. Informed the reception but ... no change. Also other bath accessories missing. Nor recommended. Not worth 120 euros a night.

The apartment was spotless and really well equipped. Decent sized fridge, kettle, pod espresso machine and coffee percolator plus hob and mini dishwasher. The pods and filter papers available in the local Spar. The balcony was a really good size and very safe. The pool area was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was great - cereals, juices, pastries and breads, healthy options plus cooked breakfast. The staff members were very pleasant and very helpful. The beach was close by, and was gorgeous. Towels for the pool were provided separate to the white towels and were changed every three days.
The kids bunk beds were not very comfortable and they were very small. The little room they were in was really a corridor to the main door of the apartment. This was the only fault with the apartment, and it wasn't anything major.
