Location was very close to train station and on the main road. We liked it a lot. - Clean place and nice elderly staff. - green backyard to take a walk after breakfast. - a couple of people speak a bit of English so manageable. - They allowed us to check in early.

- Many people did not speak or understand English but it is the case with every place in German tourist destinations. - Rooms were a clean but texture of the room looked like very old. - 2 separate blankets for a couple. I know this is a stupid thing throughout germany :/. - Breakfast was terrible.

Great complimentary breakfast! Loved the dinner we ate there as well. Our room was comfortable and the staff was friendly. They didn't speak much English and we didn't speak much German but we made it work together.

We booked a family room and were pleased to see it was two separate rooms within the one space, modern furniture, lovely breakfast, friendly staff, short walk into centre of town.

We had family room at top of building (Room 10) - tiny shower and dark shower curtain that stuck to you when showering (do not book if you are very tall) made worse by poor lighting in bathroom, only hand soap was supplied (no shower gel or shampoo), tatty towels, some pillows were very poor, dreadful crockery at breakfast which needs to be replaced urgently, (every cup was either chipped or cracked), hotel smelt of fried foods, hotel tried to charge me tourist tax which I had already paid via Booking.com and it took some convincing that I had paid it.

Our first night in Germany and it was in this delightful authentic place. The staff were friendly, the breakfast amazing, parking was easy and our room overlooked the atmospheric beer garden.

Breakfast was very good

Despite booking from booking.com, we needed to fill out some papers at reception. There was no shampoo in bathroom.

I loved everything, I am definitely going back..... enjoyed the German breakfast too.
