LOCATION was INCREDIBLE! Our room had two walls of windows looking out over the city and river. It was one of the loveliest views we have ever had! Beds were comfortable, staff was friendly. This is worth the splurge!

WLAN hat nicht funktioniert. Fernseher sehr klein und ungünstig aufgestellt.

The location was great, especially with the Christmas market just across the bridge. The dogs had a brilliant time with a lot of other local dogs and all the owners were very relaxed about them all playing.
The reception staff were lovely, especially when our 8 year old Golden Retriever had problems navigating the shiny floor in reception. She worried about slipping so we all employed various tactics to try and encourage her across, ending with using two different dog mats as tiles to create safe islands for her.
We couldn't eat dinner in the restaurant as they were booked with Christmas parties but that was fine as we found somewhere nearby.
Reception was very helpful with parking because with our roof box we were too high for the underground car park, and with advice about walking the dogs due to the river having flooded.
The room was lovely. Breakfast was good.
We will definitely return for a stay dedicated stay (without the dogs).

The position is by far the strongest selling point for the hotel: it is on the river and at 5 minutes walking distance from the center, however it is on a separate small island, making it super easy to reach it by car without headaches.
The front desk staff was helpful and welcoming.
The old carpet floors, cabinets and overall the amenities in the room (soap, pillows, linens, etc) are decent but not worthy of a 4 stars hotel.

It was very warm inside and only one window had a mosquito screen. This was the window further away from the bed so at night is remained very warm inside

the pillows were very soft and the room although it was really large still did not have a proper TV!

Bit outdated, no safety box, no kettle/coffee machine, no mini-bar/fridge in the room. Pillows either too stiff or already disintegrated, plugs and light switches on the bed headboard directly behind the pillows!

Location was perfect for walking into the old city. Lots of dining close. Room had a beautiful view of the Danube River. Fridge in room.
WIFI was terrible, would not stay connected. Breakfast was to expensive. Parking was 17€ a night for a guest, totally crazy!

Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent location almost right in the center , but in a quiet area , situated on island in the middle of Steinerne Bridge. Quality breakfast, excellent service, good selection. Nice sauna. Amazing view terrace (Steinerne bridge, river, towers of old town and the neighboring island of Stadtamhof). Possibility to park directly in the hotel and arrange with the staff to extend the parking after leaving the room. One of the hotels we would like to return to.

EVERYTHING!!!
The location! it is central yet away from the tourists. it seems like every room has a view of the Danube and the picturesque town of Regensburg! Our view was beyond words during every part of the day…from morning, till dusk, till nightfall.
The lobby and bar have an modern, bright and welcoming feel! The staff were so helpful and kind!
The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds were the most comfortable of all our travels through Europe!
I highly recommend it and I hope to return after checking off the rest of my destination goals!

The VIEW was incredible of the old town! Situated right in the middle of the bridge- so convenient! Absolutely loved this hotel and will stay here again if I am ever in the area!

Beutiufel view on Regensburg.
We were accommodated on the top floor under the roof in a room that did not have an opening window. The only thing that could be opened was the full-wall glass door that led to the viewing terrace, where in the evening the staying tourists gathered and had fun long past midnight. Of course we couldn't sleep. The room did not have air conditioning, in hot weather the only option was to open the door to the terrace, so we actually slept in the open corridor. We were not informed about this deficiency in advance, the price for such accommodation was significantly exaggerated.

With very hot weather the room was difficult to cool as it was toward the inner courtyard rather than on an outside of the hotel.
