1. Location is near Echoland and my room has a very nice view of the mountain area in the morning. It was so nice to wake up with that view. 2. Clean and well-organized place. The common area is so neat and relaxing, you would want to stay in the place for longer. My room was so clean, complete with hot water and a heater. It was so comfortable I was able to rest well (more than 12 hrs of sleep 😲) after a day of a long hike. 3. More than the above, I was really happy with the hospitality of the host. Despite challenges in language, she tried her best to help me find the best time and way to get to the mountain resort. Knowing it's my first time in Hakuba she guided me to places around the area. She even extended help to get me to the bus terminal. I love the place and will come back here.😃😃😃

Mr Chan, the owner is an absolute legend. He picked us up and dropped us off at Hakuba station, he arranged ski/snowboard hire, he put the fire on in the common room for us one night, he offered us wine on another night, he cooked a delicious breakfast each morning and we had many things to choose from. He also helped us call different restaurants to make a booking. The hotel had a home like feeling, was very clean and in a great location.

Owner came to pick me up at the bus station. Central area with fireplace and sofas for groups to chit chat. Nice place with hostel feel! You have your own room with big comfortable bed and toilet. Free shuttle bus stop right outside the lodge which brings you to the major skiing spots.

Sparkling clean! It was very cozy and made us feel like home. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The neighbourhood was quiet yet it was closed to central location and restaurants (via car).

The beds were a bit too soft for us.

Cozy place. The breakfast is included: simple but very good. The facility is OK also for a private use (around 12-15 ppl). Recommended for both winter and summer.
