Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, unsere Velos konnten wir innerhalb des Hotels im Trockenen unterbringen. Der Aufenthalt im Castle Hotel war sehr entspannt, von sehr aufmerksamem, freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal begleitet. Das Hotel strahlt eine gemütliche, gediegene Atmosphäre aus, sehr lebendig und professionell. Die Küche ist hervorragend!

The breakfast was excellent and the staff excelled themselves.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly here. The bed was comfortable and clean and the room had everything I needed, tea and coffee tray, television, hairdryer etc.
The hotel needs an upgrade in terms of decor, the carpets were old and had some dents and holes. Similarly the bathroom, while it was clean, would benefit from updating. I had dinner in the bar and it was nice, not outstanding, but fine for me.

It's located within a 5 min walk from stansted airport which was really convenient for am esrly/late night flight. Pathway to the airport was mostly sheltered and shielded from the wind.

Lovely fresh fruit and yogurt for breakfast and amazing scones. Very pleasant staff serving.
Bacon seemed to have been cooked a long time. I found the pillows a tad uncomfortable

Extremely friendly staff, especially Shauna in the dining room and Billy Collins at reception at night time who sorted out our television.
The breakfast wasn’t exactly great. An omelette would have been welcomed.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was very good. The owner came to the tables to check on the guests eating which was nice. The room was big.
It was quite cold in the bar and restaurant area. Air Conditioning was far too low.

Quite simply a truly excellent hotel. They are just getting everything right. And the reason - the staff. So professional, so friendly and so accommodating. They couldn’t do enough for the guest. Too many positives to mention. The facilities are great, including the rooms, the fitness centre, and the food, but the staff make this hotel a superb place to stay.

Location great, staff friendly and efficiently helpful. Breakfast busy but well managed and tasty. Ate in bar also and again food was good and service friendly and efficient.
