Superb

This is our second time and once again we loved it. The most relaxing place on earth! Can’t say enough about how much we love coming here.

We rented both properties and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Porch sitting, hiking, kayaking, marine activity, lawn games. Easy family time together. Access to great grocery store or restaurants. Just slow and easy family time. Caretaker is helpful and unobtrusive. Staff of Vashon Parks and Rec friendly and helpful. Captain Joe of the lighthouse a gem of a human.

What a location, you just can’t beat that anywhere! We looked straight at Mount Rainier all weekend. It didn’t hurt that the weather was fantastic, but we would have been happy in the house anyway. We spent the afternoons just relaxing there. The front porch, the picnic table on the side, the living room – all the spaces were wonderful and comfortable. Dining room and kitchen are nice. Good beds too! Thank you for this wonderful place!

The location is absolutely beautiful. We were able to watch the storms and see the wildlife - eagles, otters and seals. The place is very well equipped for a family gathering. They even had a lit Christmas tree which made the front room very festive.

This place is an amazing location, easily accessible by ferry from Tacoma or Seattle. The picture window in the living room is the highlight, but this location is well equipped to entertain all ages any time of year.

This is a unique property. The old house has been updated, yet it maintains its character delightfully. It is right on the water in the midst of a park with wonderful views of the Sound (and seals). Even though we had smoke on one day of our visit, and rain the next, we still enjoyed it a lot. Good friends, good times. The only problem is that the staircase is fairly steep with high risers; the handrail is sturdy, though, so it was fine.

Everything was the best. This lighthouse keepers cottage had everything we needed and more. Beautiful location on the water and a great location to explore Vashon Island. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Another surprise was the unseasonal 80 degree weather. Who expected that happening. Really nice getaway with friends.

Amazing beach walks and sunrises. This house is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the beach.

The house is old so it is creaky, but that only enhances its charm. The view of the water is almost 180 degrees with a view of Mt. Rainer, boats floating by and lots of wildlife. Tranquil and worth every penny. Bring board games for nighttime fun!

Second visit. Second trip to paradise. Love this place; love the view, love everything about it. A piece of paradise close to home. Can't wait to come back next year!!

We love this place!

We loved every minute of our stay! There was a wide variety of wildlife, beautiful sunsets featuring Mount Rainier, boat and plane travel to watch, and lots of history. Keeper House A was very spacious and inviting. We will definitely be back!

We've stayed at Point Robinson Keeper's Quarters at least 4 times now, both in Quarters A and in Quarters B. It's always such a relaxing getaway, even though my husband could still commute into work in Seattle! We needed to have some storm windows removed because it got warm for the first time of the year while we were there, and Eric and his team responded very promptly.

Perfection!

We come here every year and are never disappointed. We love being by the water and it doesn't get much better than this. House is great, more than large enough for our family. Look forward to coming back!

I grew up on Vashon, and always wanted to stay there. We only had to travel for an hour to get there, and it felt like a special and unique setting. We saw porpoise, orcas and harbor seals. The 3 days we stayed were a vacation from a cold and wet May, the weather was beautiful.

We stay here as a family about once a year. I love the rocking chairs on the front porch and how close to the beach it is.

We rented both houses to have our family stay for our intimate 10 person wedding. This is a beautiful location.

We enjoy coming to Vashon Island and Point Robinson park is so fun. So we decided to rent the Keepers quarters. The house is comfortable and has everything we need. We enjoyed exploring the beach, agate hunting, and time playing games. The beds are very comfortable. The porch rockers are perfect for a nice morning coffee while listening to the waves. The best part- the beach is just steps away…

The home is lovingly restored with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay! We LOVED our time here and will come again!

We had another amazing time on Vashon Island. We just love the privacy and location that even though we see the hustle and bustle across the way on the mainland, you feel like your several miles away from the chaos. This is our second year staying here for my husbands birthday and we’re hoping to make it a family tradition.

Happy to say that it was even better in person than we expected. What's not to love. We had a very enjoyable stay.

We loved the two nights we stayed here. The house was charming and the view was incredible.

It was wonderful to stay near the lighthouse. My sister was visiting from NY and it was fun to see Vashon through her eyes. She was ecstatic about every tree, shell and rock along the beach. We were also happy drinking tea on the porch and playing games with the family in the dining room. The house is comfortable and there was enough room for 3 adults and 3 teens. We watched movies one night and picked up dinner in town one of the nights as well. Grocery store and ferry are easy to get to. And Eric was extremely helpful and quick to respond before and during our stay. We would definitely stay at the house again.

We rented the house for 2 days around Christmas time for a family gathering. It's a great house, large and comfortable. They even had a real decorated Christmas tree! It's right on the water with beautiful views. The problem was that one of the window upstairs was broken. They fixed it with tape and a plastic sheet, but the sheet flapped in the wind constantly at night. It made a lot of noise and we couldn't get a good night's sleep. They should repair that window, or at the very least put a wood plank instead of plastic to cover it up.

We recently enjoy the weekend at the keepers quarters on Maury Island just off the southern tip of Vashon Island in Puget Sound. This old house, just steps from the lapping waters and overlooking glacier-capped Mount Rainier just an arm's reach away, gave everything we needed for a relaxing getaway without going too far from home. A 20 minute ferry ride, and 20 minute drive down the island led us to this exclusive park, closed to visitors in the evenings, felt like our own private estate on the tip of paradise. The house reminded me of my childhood days, with character and construction no longer found longer easily. You gave us everything we needed, including personal comfort and a well stocked kitchen. There was nothing missing in the cozy, unpretentious house, and the addition of personal items, nice dinnerware and the fabulous front porch to sit together and gaze across at across the sparkling water was as good as could be. Seals frolicked in the water, Eagles flew by. Orca whales had passed out front earlier in the day when we arrived, but, missing them didn't bother us because the scene was so beautiful in any event. It was the perfect place to enjoy fun days and evenings with friends, making paella, playing board games, and walking the driftwood beach. It was a magnificent stay in a very comfortable place. We could not have been happier, and can't wait to make this short journey again as soon as possible.

We had beautiful weather, gorgeous views, relaxing environment. We were amazed that they had thought of everything we could possibly need. It felt like a trip back in time. We loved it!
