Our annual Sisters Celebration was one of our best in 20 years. The accommodations were beyond our expectations, with a full kitchen and great appliances. We spent our time exploring the island and just spending wonderful time watching the boats and wildlife, including a morning visit from a young eagle. We encourage you to visit!

This cute house was just perfect for our weekend getaway and I would highly recommend it. The house was spotlessly clean, everything we needed was provided, the host was wonderful and checkin/communication was a breeze. The property is gorgeous and very private with beautiful views. 10/10 and would definitely stay here again.

We had the best time! The house and beach were secluded and private. Birds, wildlife, and sea life were abundant. Can’t wait to come back!

We couldn't have asked for more! The house is right on the beach and is fully stocked we everything we needed. We spent the days searching for sea shells, marveling at the sand dollars and roasting marshmallows on the beach. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Thanks to our hosts for another wonderful stay! As always, the house was perfect and the setting even better! Vashon is the perfect PNW getaway, with a short ferry ride, great coffee houses, fun shopping, beaches and the lighthouse. Such a neat community and we feel tucked right into it while we stay at Driftwood. We love visiting this house in the winter for the NW moodiness and beach combing. The house is great for our family and comes equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, play games, light a bonfire on the beach and get cozy. Communication with the host is super easy. Unlike some vrbos that have so many rules and duties that it feels hostile-driftwood feels very relaxed and we felt welcomed. Can’t wait to return!

We booked this to visit relatives on Vashon Island for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, we only had a few days we could spend there, but this property was an excellent choice for it. Once you arrive at the property, you may not want to leave it. Located on a point, you have an expansive water view….. all yours. The house is located on the beach level, so it’s easy walking to the water, or down to the dock. Parking is right at the house, so no need to navigate steep dangerous stairs, etc. I cannot review the TV….. we never used it. Why bring in the outside world when in paradise ? We have stayed in other properties on Vashon Island previously, but this one will be our first choice for future returns, if it is available.

Highly recommend!! One of best waterfront locations we've ever experienced. Cozy cabin & tons of amenities. Kitchen very well stocked & home had everything we needed -- even sand toys for the kids to borrow. Beautiful!!

Wonderful stay as always!

From the absolute charm of the house to the unsurpassed ocean views to the caring and kindness of the host, everything about Driftwood is centered on creating an unforgettable vacation for you and your family. The bird watching is amazing (I stopped counting how many different birds we observed!), the occasional seal can be seen swimming by, and the water is clear and calm so you can easily watch the swimming sea life. The beautiful water views, as seen from indoors or out, are astounding and will definitely stay with you. The furniture is comfortable (my husband fell in love with couches), the bedding is soft, the kitchen is well stocked with dishes and such, and the gorgeous water can be seen from nearly every area, even the laundry room. We would recommend Driftwood and would most assuredly stay there again!

Spectacular location, perfectly organized, quiet except for call of birds and the occasional wave arriving on shore from the wake of a distant boat..,if you need to relax and gaze at the view or read a book, this place is for you.

The property is beautiful and peaceful on a great beach. 5 adults between ages 28-68. We had a family reunion on the Island elsewhere but the mornings with coffee on the porch and the bedding for sleep were wonderful. All the amenities that you can think of. We would rent again!

It’s the best, especially for ease of getting my kayak in and out of the water. Perfect spot for us to relax and get away from the world’s madness.

This magical spot was the perfect place to spend family time! Very clean, well-equipped kitchen, and lots of games and sand toys! So much fun! Absolutely beautiful location! We could spend hours exploring the beach here!

We (couple + 18 month old) stayed here for a 4 night getaway. The beach is terrific for strolling, toddling, SUPing, beachcombing, and watching the magical PNW sunsets. The house was clean and comfortable, and we’re already planning our next trip back here.

My husband and I and 3 friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Driftwood Retreat! The location and setting are unique and beautiful, as is the cabin. Mary Ann's info was spot on and her onsite tour upon checkin was much appreciated. The kitchen had all of the pans and utensils we needed which is not always the case... Highly recommend this place!

Appreciated that hosts provided everything to make our stay cozy and seamless...comfy beds, well appointed kitchen, games to entertain. The setting is spectacular.

Everything you see about this place is true! The listing matched my expectations, but the experience itself exceeded it, too. MaryAnn gave us a walk-through when we first arrived, which was great, and she was communicative throughout. I felt she was accessible and approachable for anything we might need. The place had all the things we hoped they would inside and more - with great outdoor furniture, sand toys for kids, and grilling equipment. I hardly ever say this about places we've rented, but our family has said unanimously we would definitely come back and stay at Driftwood in the future!

The Driftwood Beach House is Amazing! I have stayed at a lot of beach houses and this one is my favorite! We are looking forward to going back soon!

Amazing beach property with lots to explore and good privacy.

We spent our 50th wedding Anniversary there. it was perfect! Beautiful, quiet and secluded. The amenities are amazing. Mary Ann is a great host. We will return.

This was our 3rd year for an annual guys trip. Host is very nice and accommodating, which I appreciate! Plenty of beach access for exploring, firewood and beach fires. House is excellent and has all the amenities you would need. Gas BBQ, wi-fi, TV, stocked kitchen, etc. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We love this place hope to come back again in the future. Takes just a short time to get there from Seattle. Would highly recommend to anyone :)

An amazing location with a ton of sandy beachfront. Birds, seals, porpoises all visited. The host was very communicative and accommodating!

I grew up on Vashon so I know how special it is, and the Driftwood Retreat fits right in. MaryAnn's property is truly one of a kind and we absolutely loved our stay. The location right on the water was the perfect way to spend our holiday. MaryAnn was very easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. We will definitely be back!

The house is meticulously maintained and well appointed. It’s surprisingly cozy and charming inside. The beds are super comfy? The hosts are responsive, communications are clear. What a fabulous gem!
