Loved this little place. Quite neighborhood. Dan and Lori had the house fully stocked with just about everything you could want or need. Enjoyed meeting Dan. He showed us around the property. We had a very relaxing enjoyable stay. Highly recommend the Castaway Cottage!

Everything was perfect. They supplied everything we could have needed. The pool area is beautiful and the location to the beach was great. It was nice being able to drive the supplied golf cart wherever we went.

We stayed for 5 days- 2 adults and children aged 7 and 9. Cute little cottage with an amazing private pool backyard area and golf cart to get around. Dan and Goose live in house attached next door but do not intrude at all and just let you know they are happy to help if needed. We literally saw them twice during our stay and that was when we were asking for tips on where to go. They were v helpful with info before our visit too.The location is amazing at quiet north part of the island- 5 mins walk to Bean point and to the Rod and Reel restaurant. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Anna Maria is quiet by nature and the proximity of this cottage to the beach, shopping and restaurants makes it a perfect spot to be. The host greeted us upon arrival, showing us around the property and making us feel very welcome. The cottage is supplied with everything you need for a great time at the beach and pool. The kitchen cabinets are well stocked and the washer and dryer helps for packing light. Enjoy!

We had another great family spring break stay at Castaway Cottage. The place has everything you could want. I could have spent all week in the backyard oasis. Dan and Goose are great hosts, Definitely hope to be back again someday.

This cottage was perfect for my family of 3 for my daughter's Spring Break. This was one of the best appointed houses we have stayed at on the island. Came with bikes, golf cart, paddle boards! The backyard was a paradise and the hosts- Dan and Goose were very helpful. Would stay here again!

The Castaway Cottage exceeded our expectations!! Dan and Goose went above and beyond making us feel welcome and providing anything and everything you might need for your stay! Hopefully we will be back next year!

Very impressed with all the extra amenities provided and the personal touch taken by the owners to make us feel right at home. The pool and hot tub with outside tv was the best place to hangout and enjoy the beautiful weather.

This property was beautifully appointed and the location was great. The description stated it was well stocked and well furnished and this is absolutely true. Just steps from Bean Point and a v short walk to The Rod and Reel Pier , location can’t be beat. The golf cart was so handy for getting around the island and the backyard pool was an oasis. Goose and Dan are more than property managers, extremely invested to assure our stay was great. Highly recommend.

We came to the island for the first time for two weeks. The cottage was great . We loved the location. We explored the whole island and concluded we had picked the best area! Goose and Dan were great hosts. The cottage was wonderful! The pool and hot tub area was amazing! We would have used it more had the weather been warmer! Overall it was a great trip and we will be back!

We had a great stay here. Dan and Goose were very friendly and helpful. Communication was fantastic. Home was clean and cared for. They thought of all the little things. Plenty of extras and supplies. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

We stayed here for 4 nights just before Thanksgiving. All correspondence leading up to visit was super helpful. Dan and Goose there to meet us on arrival, warm and welcoming. The property is so well equipped, the attention be detail was amazing. Just what we needed after 2 weeks at Disney. The location at Bean Point - perfect. Golf buggy that is included - nippy. Recommendations - perfect and person-centred down to the time of sunset. Wine, beer in the porch and chocolates. ❤️ Would recommend to anyone wanting a great vacation. Dan & Goose were nothing short of amazing! They have thought of everything that you could possibly need while on vacation and have it available for you at the cottage. We loved AMI and will def be back to stay again!

This was a perfect, calm, private and wonderful rental on AMI. Dan and Goose were excellent hosts, easy to communicate with, kind, and very helpful. They have thought of everything to go the extra mile and make their rental fully equipped, comfortable and inviting...from the coffee bar, to bountiful towels, to ample sunscreen, to all the pool and beach toys you could need. The property was clean, and the pool area was absolutely incredible...a tropical private oasis. The beach was a 5 min walk to the most desirable area to watch the sunset. We are thrilled with our stay, and our 3 small children adored the place, the golf cart and the island. Thanks Dan and Goose for a memorable and comfortable family vacation!

Love the place!!! The stars say it all. They go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need, from plenty of linens to beach toys, a kayak, and sup boards. The pool was great!

Honeymoon was spoiled. Thought we were getting a private getaway as stated. Owners are scamming people. All photos make it seem as if it is a private cottage. It is a duplex. Owners live in the other side FULL TIME. They can look out of their bedroom window and see every square inch of the hot tub and pool. Notice every picture doesn’t show their side of the “cottage”. We reached out beforehand and told them it was for our honeymoon. Who would want to stay in a duplex on their honeymoon…On top of it all the owners asked us to top off the 3 gallon gas tank on the golf cart…. You’d think after spending 500 a night to stay there they could fill their own cart up. Don’t be fooled like we were. Huge disappointment.

We had a wonderful time at Castaway Cottage! The charming cottage is literally stocked with everything you could need and then some. Review the list of amenities and save yourself the luggage space! You can walk to the beach easily and the golf cart provided was so great to take short drives to the piers, dinners, and shopping. We drove our truck one time the whole week. The beautiful pool in the back was our favorite feature and used every day between beach and dinners. The owners are so friendly and responsive and go out of their way to make sure you have any and all questions answered. We loved it and hope to visit again :)

We had the best time at the cottage. The cottage is in the best location on the island and the beaches are beautiful on the north end. Dan and Goose was amazing host the whole time we was there. We will for sure be back.

We traveled to Castaway Cottage for an end of summer family getaway. We had such a wonderful stay! Castaway Cottage has everything you need, and more! The backyard is an oasis, and it is only a short walk to beautiful Bean Point. The sunsets are spectacular! Thank you for a lovely AMI vacation!

The property had everything we needed for our family with young kids (3,5,7). Quick walk to the beach, short drive to shops and restaurants, and a great pool area! We loved AMI and can't wait to go back.

Our stay at Castaway Cottage was nothing short of Amazing and relaxing!!! Goose and Dan have the house set up so well with all that you need to enjoy your stay that you only have to pack your clothes and decide on what you want to do first- whether it be a jump in the cool relaxing pool or take a short walk to the beach!! My family was already planning our next stay before we even left, lol!!! All the special attention Dan and Goose give to you as a guest is nothing I have experienced before- with the complementary drinks on our arrival to the home from the fridge on the porch, the bottle of wine for later that night, the awesome coffe bar set up, all the amenities you need to make your meals there (all the spices and cooking oils you would ever need!!) Along with a wonderful welcome packet to give you the low down on all the restuarants nearby to hit and activities-- all this together spoiled us and will make it hard not to compare to other vacations we take outside of castaway cottage!!! Truly loved getting to know Goose and Dan!! Goose is very prompt on responding to any text or emails and she is genuinely the sweetest and nicest host!! Thank you for making our first big vacation a one to truly remember!! ❤️

We loved our time at castaway cottage! Definitely the best equipped house we’ve ever stayed at in AMI. We’ve been turned off in recent years after having to buy every conceivable thing we’d need for our vacation because the houses came with nothing; this was the opposite experience! The kids loved the paddle boards, zooming around in the golf cart and all the fun beach toys that were provided. The pool area is phenomenal as well. All in all a great stay!

Dan & Goose have thought of everything. We truly only needed to back our bag of clothes. They had it all. Such an enjoyable stay. Our favorite part was the outdoor shower. To jump in a cold shower in the heat was divine!

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Castaway Cottage. Dan and Goose have created a little slice of heaven with this cozy, amazingly setup and stocked home. Close to the beach, restaurants, shops and activities, we had plenty to keep us busy if we wanted. We chose to spend most of our time hanging out in the beautiful backyard, in and around the pool. So many small details made this an absolute dream location for us and for our two teenagers. We highly recommend staying here for anyone wanting to spend quality time together by the pool, at the beach or around AMI. Thank you both for such a lovely, relaxing place to stay for a few days.

We booked Castaway Cottage a week after we got home from it last year. Dan and Goose think of and provide everything you could want or need from a perfect beach vacation, with so many extra, thoughtful touches. Living nextdoor they are always available, but give you total privacy. It was a very hot week, and our whole family got so much use out of the pool. We loved using the golf cart they provide to zip around the island for meals and shopping. We will be back again!
