The property was very cozy and relaxing for us on our vacation, it was also pristinely clean, it was also very close to downtown Boyne city and was a very easy walk to the water.
If we are in the area again we would gladly stay at the cabin again if available!

Came to stay in Boyne City for a soccer tournament in Petoskey and found the Cedar Hill Cottage. Beautiful inside and out! Great location to walk into town for shops and restaurants! Close to a local beach to enjoy the lake and lovely views! Everything we could ask for when we were not at a soccer game! Excellent hosts who were accommodating and quick to respond to any questions! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Reminded me of my gramma's house. Old, but interesting and inviting. Everything was clean and tidy. Christmas tree was still up for our early January stay! Just follow the check-in instuctions closely and there will be no problem. Toilet in basement was interesting, but manageable. When locking front door, pull on the handle while hitting button.

This was our second stay in this home. Last time was also a new years trip. We really love the town of Boyne City - especially all of the restaurants and this is thre perfect home base.
The 2 rooms upstairs give our boys the option to spread out or be together.
2 family rooms both with TVs allow us to share or split up.
I noticed that the main floor bedroom mattress has been replaced since we last visited. Also noted there are now headed pads on the front steps! No slipping!
this home is a very short drive to the mountain for skiing and has ample room to keep your gear. If we decide to return to Boyne for the holidays next year this is the first place we will try to rent.

Great downtown location
We are a family of 6 and had such a nice time here. The location to walk to town and the beaches are great. The kids loved sleeping on the front porch and the adults enjoyed the quiet backyard. The hosts were very easy to get in contact with and resolved any issues/questions right away. We would recommend this vrbo to our friends and family.

Fantastic location within a short walking distance to downtown!
Our family had a great time and this house is a perfect location to downtown Boyne City. Close drive to Whiting Beach plus easy drives to Harbor Springs, Petoskey and Charlevoix. The house was comfortable and relaxing to stay in. Matt and Sheila were fantastic with communications and replied back very quickly with any questions. Highly recommend staying here!

Pleasant Stay
Overall experience was great. We spent two nights while visiting family in town. Kitchen was very modern and had everything we needed. Wouldn't recommend to people over 60 years old or with limited mobility, because of two bedooms being upstairs. Sheila was very helpful and was available to answer us if we had any questions.

Loved our stay! The cottage was very cozy and had everything we needed. Quick walk downtown, and a short drive to the ski hill. Owners were great to work with! Plenty of spaces to hangout and enjoy the company of your group. Overall fantastic experience.

The house was quaint and quirky. The kitchen was very well stocked, there were extra blankets and an extra heater for the cold den which we used as a bedroom. We would have appreciated a physical book with instructions and explanations which we often needed to look up in the online document. It was a lovely place!

Ski trip!!
It was lovely :) very nicely decorated .. my two favorite places were the den with its cozy fireplace and comfy couches.... and the front porch. The washer and dryer were so helpful to us as well. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. We had the best time and the owners were very receptive to whatever questions we had :) stay here you won’t regret it !! We will be back for sure.

Great experience with stay loved the labels for items in kitchen. Only complaint was the toilet. I understand it’s getting fixed soon but could cause an issue if someone sits down too fast. Beyond that it was a nice stay for us. Thank you.

This cottage is my all-time favorite vacation rental so far! Quality linens, well equipped kitchen and oozes charm! It's decorated so beautifully and is super cozy. Short walk to beautiful downtown Boyne City.

The perfect HOMEbase
We had a fantastic time skiing and enjoying the numerous restaurants in the area. The house was the perfect place to relax after a long day on the slopes. We had more than enough room for us and our 2 sons to be comfortable. We easily could have brought my parents. The house had everything we needed to cook as well. The owners were great at keeping us up to date and check in was a breeze. Hope to stay here again next year!

Great location with plenty of places for guests to sleep. Everyone was very comfortable! Only one bathroom however toilet in the basement came in handy! Fire pit and grill in backyard was very much enjoyed as well. Highly recommend this place and would love to visit again!!!

Great place for a family!
Wonderful property for our family. We have 2 children under 3. We vacation in Boyne city every year and usually stay in a condo or rent a large house on the water with our siblings. With having a growing little family we decided to try a new place. It was a great decision! Spacious enough when my father and niece came to stay. Great living room areas so everyone could hang out on one end of the house without waking up the baby. Easy walking distance to everything, grocery store,restraunts, beach, park, we didn’t need to use our car once!!

Wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful time in Boyne over the 4th of July holiday. The cottage was close walk to all the activities and fun downtown. The home was stocked with everything you need and was the perfect fit for our family and one set of grandparents. Thank you to Matt and Sheila for the hospitality!

We had a wonderful experience at this cozy cabin in Boyne City
We had a conference in town and rented this wonderful cabin. We had two adults and two teenagers and the cabin worked our perfectly. We all enjoyed our evenings in the den watching TV with the fire blazing. There was also 42" of snow and the city was like a winter wonderland. The skiing was great! There are restaurants and shops close by and the neighborhood is very peaceful. We will look to stay here again if our travels bring us back to Boyne City.
Matt and Sheila are very nice and accommodated our request for an early check in. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful cabin.
