my partner had a huge allergic reaction to bed bugs in our private room which essentially ruined our time as he was not well (even went to the doctor, had to buy antihistamine tablets and creams), and we got offered to change rooms when I complained which I accepted due to the lack of time to look for something else and without knowing that in the other room there was a enormous amount of mould in the bathroom that was so smelly and literally made us retch any time we had to use the bathroom, filthy bathrooms (not regularly cleaned at all, simply couldn’t use the toilets as there were many men in the hostel and the toilet seat conditions were horrendous, floors were really dirty and they use the excuse that it’s shared but it’s their responsibility to stay on top of it if they know that is the case), showers didn’t work well (very weak water pressure, freezing cold and on one of the days, just no water at all), staff was too relaxed and sleeping next door to our room which was uncomfortable. essentially a very bad experience 0/10. DO NOT recommend at all.
