Very well located. Clean, practical, comfy.

We really enjoyed our stay in Joseba’s apartment. It had everything we needed for our stay in San Sebastián. The washing machine and drying area was a bonus. The kitchen is well equipped but we only really used the kettle as we ate out every day. Joseba’s recommendations for eating places were spot on. The bathroom is small but there’s lots of hot water and a powerful shower. The second toilet is a bonus. The aircon worked great. The area is lively with small children playing in the park area during the day, which was lovely. At night it was quiet, with the double glazed windows shutting out any potential noise. Everywhere was easily reachable on foot. All 3 beaches are different but lovely - lots of Spanish families 😀. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay in Joseba’s apartment and the Gros area when we next visit San Sebastián.

Comfortable rooms overlooking a beautiful church. The square in front of the church is a place of relaxation for local residents, where children can be seen playing happily. The bright rooms are wonderfully decorated with a great sense of style and all the furnishings are in place. The owner and his wife, whom we met upon check-in, are truly lovely people. All of the bar recommendations given to us by the owners were excellent. The old town is only a 10 minute walk away. The neighborhood has great bars, restaurants, and charming stores and is the best place to live. It is a long way from Japan, but we will definitely visit again.

Very pleasant apartment in a great neighbourhood. Gros is a cool area of the town with a surfer beach a minute away - a fun beach for non surfers as well. A lot of great bakeries, cafés, restaurants… a short and pleasant walk to the old town and La Concha beach. The apartment had everything we needed, excellent kitchen, pleasant atmosphere and a nice view on the square and church. The host was great - very helpful, friendly and responsive. We felt very secure and had a lovely time.

The apartment is close to everything. It is a short walk to many restaurants and the beach. It is about 10 minutes to the old town. It was very comfortable with plenty of room for 3 people. The kitchen has everything to cook meals. Internet is fast and there is a/c in every room. There is a washing machine as well. There is paid parking across the street that is (I believe) €28.50 / day. If you download the Telepark app you can reserve a spot starting at €25 / day and it goes down if you reserve multiple days. Parking on the street is not really an option since you can only pay 90 minutes at a time. There is some street noise during the morning and day (you are in a city) and there were lots of kids playing across the street. The windows, if they are closed, block most of the noise though.

The apartment was immaculately clean, comfortable and well located. Easy walk to the beaches and old town. The Gros neighborhood was itself a joy to explore! Joseba was welcoming and provided great recommendations for local dining.

From the moment we were greeted by our host and shown around, we knew we had booked the perfect flat for our extended stay. This modern space with beautiful historic beams in the center for structure but also aesthetic warmth made this place absolutely perfect for us. The rooms were so efficient with built in storage in each bedroom. The balconies to the public square in the neighborhood of Gros made for new interest each day, whether it was a puppet show for the children or a farmers market for our local grocery needs. To be able to open the door and see the park in front of you or the ocean down the street to the right was quite a bonus. The apartment beds were also quite comfortable which is so important to us. So much so that I was wanting to know where the pillows were from so we could buy one for home. Great cafes nearby, excellent transportation available within a few steps (but you can walk most places), and an easy walk to the beach.

A very clean and well appointed apartment in walking distance to everything. Joseba was helpful to provide information on where to shop and eat around the area and checked in to confirm everything was OK during our stay. Would recommend to stay here.

We had a wonderful time in San Sebastian and couldn't of picked a better place to stay. It's location is great and you can see the beach from the balcony. If you want to cook the apartment is equipped of every cooking facilities you would need. The apartment is clean, fresh and modern will definitely recommend it to friends. The host Joseba is extremely friendly and gives great advice on restaurants etc.

We loved our stay at this sweet apartment. It had everything we needed to feel well set up with our family. We were traveling with our three year old daughter, and found the apartment safe, clean, with all the amenities we needed. Two bedrooms with large beds allowed us to spread out. The apartment had a high chair, a pack and play, and beach supplies. There was laundry, a great kitchen, and most importantly, a playground across the street. Every morning we could watch the kids playing out the window as we had breakfast, and then run down to join them. Our host was the nicest person, and met us personally to explain the house and answer any questions. He also had a wonderful book with recommendations for kids activities, restaurants and more. It was a wonderful home base for us, and we would definitely stay again!

Recently stayed for two weeks at Joseba's apartment in Donostia with my wife and infant daughter. The apartment is VERY comfortable and well-equipped: Excellent cooking supplies, some things for the beach, laundry in-unit, 1.5 baths, smartTV, stereo, etc. We had a very comfortable stay. It is also perfectly situated in Gros: 1.5 blocks to the beach, ~5 min to old town, a playground and plaza right out front, tons of restaurants (Senra, Bergara, Pajaro, Lobo, Geralds, Hogar Dulce Hogar, Bodega Donostiara were our favorites), a huge grocery store, and parking. Our favorite part was waking up each morning and relaxing each evening by opening the huge doors to the balcony and listening to the church bells and city sounds. We came here hoping to feel perfectly at home for 15 days, and that's exactly how we felt!

The apartment is in a fantastic location in the heart of the Gros District and with every amenity you could wish for on your doorstep. It is just a stones throw to the beach and there are great cafes, bars and restaurants very close by. The small shops and boutiques are beautiful. It is a lovely walk to the Old Town and to both Concha and Onderetta beaches. The apartment is excellently equipped with everything you need including the air conditioning which is effective and very quiet. There is plenty of storage, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen a very high spec. Joseba was very helpful and gave us really great information when we arrived. I would visit again and highly recommend this apartment to anyone.
