Free breakfast is lovey, there was toast, butters, boiled egg, mango and macaroni cheese. I stayed in a female dorm and the room was ver spacious, with a massive locker big enough to fit a large suitcase in. Full length mirrors, and 3 other mirrors, bathroom robes and a kitchenette. Best facilities any hostel I’ve ever stayed in has had! The hostel is so sociable! Fernando does a fantastic walking tour, providing info of the city from 5-6. The cafe downstairs is open 24/7 and the cooks are so lovely! House keeping is amazing, the hostel is so clean!

The only reason my score is low is due to the noise. If you want to party and don’t want to sleep or if you are a heavy sleeper this is a perfect hostel for you. I wanted to party then sleep at 2am, but you can’t sleep till the music goes off at 4am, then everyone gets up for breakfast early. So you don’t get any quiet time to sleep, I had ear plugs too. If you are a heavy sleeper this hostel is perfect, but I’m not unfortunately and didn’t see any comments about the noise when I read reviews. I stayed on the 5th floor and the bar is on the 6th floor. I then moved to the 3rd floor and there was still music from downstairs bars, so u fortunately you can hear noise in all floors. Such a shame other wise this hostel would be 5 star for sure!

The hostel provides many activities for the guests (e. g., walking tours, night tours). For me as solo traveler it facilitated to get in touch with people. There is also a nice roof top bar in the hostel and there are many bars around the hostel. The facilities seemed to be good and clean.

I slept in a four bunk bed room and my bed was located in the way of the airflow of the AC which was a bit inconvenient because of the risk to get a cold.

Some guests are slobs and take advantage of a great housekeeping staff.

It's a good quality hostel with good and clean facilities. The information and confirmation provided before arrival was convenient. The location is in the middle of a cool up and coming party area.

1. The standard twin room I booked is misleadingly marketed. It turned out not to be a private room (this language for hotels most definitely means the bed size is a twin bed) but rather a room with bunk beds and fits 2 people! 2. Requesting a security deposit in cash or passport was strange, I insisted that with the room being paid for in advance and my card info with booking.com this should be enough and they will be able to charge me through booking if there are any extra fees but this didn't work 3. The staff while attentive seemed to be annoyed that I misunderstood the room would be a private one. My complaint about the misleading marketing was received in silence, and the young staffer just kept repeating the same sentence to me 3-4 times (twin means 2 beds) which wasn't the most respectful or intelligent way of handling the issue. 4. It is in a loud neighborhood, which I expected, but be prepared to hear music until 4-5 am outside the hostel. The rooftop bar was so full of people I couldn't stand or enjoy because it is a big party spot.
