I walked into buzzing vibe of ‘night before the big hike’ folks. it felt great. The staff was pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable. The location was perfect for hikers and all enjoying the a,aging landscape. Food at breakfast was plentiful and they are set up so you can make and take a sandwich for the hike. Lodge common areas were cozy and comfortable.

I stayed in the historic, beautiful house. The bunk room (female dorm room for 4 and I had it to myself) is very comfortable with a sink, mirror, towels. There is an option to use your own sleeping bag or get linens at the from desk. However, as the staff at the desk says, there is no soundproofing. In an 1880s house you will hear the guests move around. Most guest do there best to be very quiet after 11 but I forgot my melatonin and did not sleep.

Super location with the beautiful slopes , food was good . It is expensive but I think we’ll worth it .

It really is a fantastic place to stay while exploring Hurrungane. It would make any mountaineer happy with interesting routes while the ones looking for comfort and a view will be satisfied as well! The food and quality of the hotel / mountain hut is really great, food is tasty and everything is very clean. They also have a cool nature / mountaineering library

For a mountain "hut" its expensive.. but then its also unique location and quality is good

For the price, four strangers in a tiny room is not good. Also the shower area is uncomfortable.
