Lovely clean spacious apartment . Beatriz is very helpful. Loved watching the cruise ships coming in and out. Even had dip in the pool in February. Walking distance to town although up hill on way back which for us was a positive as we are now a lot fitter . Hope to return one day x

Hier stimmt wirklich alles, die Wohnung ist top. Es fehlte wirklich nichts. Miguel und Beatriz verstehen es ihre Gäste herzlich und freundschaftlich zu empfangen und zu unterhalten. Die vielen Tipps von Beatriz konnten wir nicht alle umsetzen, also werden wir wieder kommen müssen. Vielen Dank auch an Pauline, die unsere Wohnung in der Halbzeit auf Hochglanz gebracht hat. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten sich auf Madeira fortzubewegen, wir haben Bus und Taxi (Taxi vom Flughafen schon vorher gebucht ,beide Wege ca.40,00 Euro )vorgezogen und das hat auch sehr gut funktioniert. Funchal Innenstadt und Promenade kann man gut zu Fuß erreichen . Daran schließt sich auch direkt der Hafen an. Nochmals herzlichen Dank an Beatriz und Miguel wünschen Uschi, Mona-Marie & Helmut

This apartment is very recommendable! Upon arrival in Madeira in the evening with two kids (7 months and 3 years old) we rented a car and wanted to drive to the apartment using a GPS, but the GPS played tricks on us and sent us off to a wrong destination. The owner was so kind to text message us worrying that we had not arrived, and when we called to let her know about our troubles she did not hesitate to start her car and come to pick us up. With one sleeping child and one crying child it felt like her kindness saved our lives ;-) In the apartment there was some groceries in the fridge and a freshly baked bread, so that we could feed (ourselves) and the kids before having to go to a supermarket - again really saved our lives the coming morning. The pictures in the add does not do the apartment justice - it is very spacious and perfect for families with children, as there is all the furniture you need but still space for the kids to run around without breaking anything. The view of Funchal and the harbor is really spectacular and not something we will ever forget. The kitchen has every utensil you could possibly need, the showerheads in the showers are really good (not full of calcium as you would often see), the beds are of really good standard - even the pillows were good (which in my opinion is very hard to find) :-) There is a short walking distance to the old town, lots of restaurants, the famous fish and fruit-market and supermarkets. The terrain is hilly but not a problem at all and there is a fine parking space in the basement. The neighborhood is quiet. The owners are really open, warm hearted and very helpful in all aspects. We did not have any issues at all (besides with the GPS on the night of the arrival), but I am sure that Beatriz would do everything in her power to fix it if we did. We stayed in the apartment for 3 weeks straight and would recommend Beatriz, her lovely family and this apartment to anyone. You really get a lot of location for your money!

L'appartement correspond tout à fait à la description et aux photos de l'annonce. Il est neuf, grand, propre, et parfaitement situé pour profiter de Funchal. De plus il est à l'abri des bruits du centre ville. L'équipement est parfait et le Wi-Fi à très bien fonctionné. Une adresse à garder !!!

This old town apartment was excellent. Wonderful views over Funchal, large airy rooms with everything you needed and all very clean. Beatriz was very helpful and most welcoming, there was a selection of basic food waiting for us including eggs from her chickens, which were delicious! The apartment was very quiet but only a 10 minute walk to the supermarket and the seafront. We would certainly recommend this apartment and look forward to staying there again.

In October, my family stayed for 10 days in Funchal in this beautiful apartment. Very clean, well maintained. You can not beat the view! All of the essentials are there for you in the apartment. We had a 1 year old little girl and the playpen and high chair were set up for us when we arrived. The apartment was nice and open so the kids could play freely and watch the cruise ships and boats from the living room. The owner was incredibly helpful and friendly. The thing we loved the most was being able to use the garage. No driving around looking for a parking spot. We have family that live in Madeira, and for any of our future visits we will be staying here. It was perfect!

We had such a fabulous time staying in this wonderful apartment. Beatriz and her family made us feel instantly at home. The apartment is clean, spacious and has AMAZING views. It was such a comfort to come back to at the end of long days of whale watching and site seeing! We even got eggs from the family's own chickens (which were delicious). The location of this apartment is perfect too. Just a few minutes from restaurants, shops, everything you could possibly need. We did rent a car (the apartment had parking for us) but you could get by without. There is a bus route very close. We had a great time and would highly recommend!
