The hosts gave us a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Food was exceptional and huge portions.

The breakfast were amazing. The sizes were large, quality amazing and the presentation high class. Lovely shower and comfy bed.

In a brilliant location, clean, friendly and the breakfast was out of this world, such variety. Liz and Colin couldn't do enough for you. Would highly recommend a visit to this hotel.

Having to come home.

Excellent location right on the estuary, 5 minute walk to town amazing breakfast, absolutely top class! Colin and liz were lovely friendly and welcoming full of local knowledge. The room was perfect, very comfortable. We loved the honesty bar too!!

No negatives at all!

The Boat House is in a lovely position and the town is easily accessible. Room was clean and had a fabulous view. Hosts were lovely- friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was exceptional, from full English to pancakes.

Nothing. It is an old building but beautifully maintained. Room was a good size and bed comfy. En suite clean and a good size for a small room.

Everything.The room was clean and tidy, the location was ideal, the hosts were great and the breakfast was exceptional 👌

If I was pushed to find something wrong probably the duvet was super hot and heavy but it was 35 degrees outside and I'm nitpicking.

Location and cleanliness. Friendly people

Room too small and too hot. No fan in room. Unnecessary use of spices in breakfast cookery. Although thick piece of gammon instead of bacon,less can sometimes be more. Fantastic eggs I must say. Very efficient but if you don’t quite like what you’re eating it’s all a waste. Portions too large at times especially the porridge covered in cream. Why not bring the cream out separately and put it on if required again less is more.

It is in a lovely location. Rooms clean and comfortable and owners very friendly and informative. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Free parking also provided. Honesty bar was very welcome

Colin and his wife couldn't have done more to accommodate us. We were greeted with coffee and cake and all the information we needed for our stay. We were fed with the most delicious and hearty breakfasts with superb attention to detail. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
