Loved beautiful floors and wooden ceiling decor, paneling in the wood. Room was spacious and appreciated. Restaurant had the best food! Totally delicious. You wouldn't think so from the typed menu.

Put the sign about not flushing the toilet, closer to the toilet. We didn't even read it and almost had a flood. No lift. However our bags were carried part of the way.

Breakfast was ok, but need to have more coffee and hot water. when requested for more they come back saying it has run out. Fruits inconsistent supplied. Make sure your booking is confirmed via email both from Booking.com and from the hotel as well. My booking was confirmed from Booking.com and from the hotel, but when we arrived, name was not on their computer. They were saying the hotel is fully booked and will check for any room availability. They had to rebook a room and the room that I was confirmed is the same room we were confirmed when booked via Booking.com. The price was not the same and were charged more from the price that was confirmed by Booking,com. There was an increase of $1,000 TOP. from the confirmed quoted price on the Booking.com website.

Very noisy. False advertising online! Booked the room o line, then got to the hotel, they said it was full which was not true. Clerk said she'll just get us a room and send others away. I books a room a second time and was confirmed, and the hotel said they were full and that I needed to cancel the room. Not very reliable with their online services. And we got the feeling that they were not very honest. Very u professional!

please be very careful when booking this hotel. they overcharged me by £109 and refused to offer a satisfactory explanation for the overcharge or refund me. customer services at Booking.com were no help

i was requested for a room downstairs but they put me in upstairs not happy about it

the staff service was excellent, always willing to go above and beyond to help. my children loved the location. we frequently walked across the road to snorkel or walked into town to get food or go shopping.

The hotel was a victim of the 2022 tsunami and it was clear that there were scars on the hotel from that natural disaster. however, the scars add character and a story of bravery, so this is not a criticism, simply an observation.

Perfect location, amazing staff, views, and balcony were superve. The air con was good, the restaurant downstairs was handy, and the bed was super comfortable. The room contained all the basic necessities you would need for a few night's stay.

Not much to not like, could use an iron or ironing board, and a microwave would be great but not a big deal. Overall, it was a great reasonably priced hotel.

Very disappointed in the buffet breakfast. No variety. 2 pieces of watermelon and 2 hard boiled eggs does not constitute a buffet breakfast 😋. Same meal for 7 days🥶

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel...the whole building is need of dire repairs and refurbishment. There was not wifi working, nor hot water during my stay. The bathroom hasn't been properly cleaned and descaled in years. Most fixtures and fittings were loose or broken. There were just so many odd things left in the room like a man's shirt handing in the wadrobe or a half drank water bottle on the bathroom floor. I could understand if this was priced accordingly but paying over £100 a night for this is totally unacceptable considering this was low season.

great location and excellent service from staff

The Staff are very friendly and accomodating. Kuya guard was really very kind to give me some of his paracetamol when i was feeling really bad. It was very early in the morning, around 1:30AM. I could not sleep because of muscle and joint pain. The medicine was an instant relief.

The Food serving is actully too much for a Filipino type of meal. But it’s not really a bad thing. 🙂 It would be very nice if they serve a solo meal, like a set meal. Like a small portion of rice paired with a small portion of meat and vegetables. :-)

The loumalo (?) hot drink was the best part.

Very disappointed with hotel’s lack of response to the recent tsunami warning. Unknown hotel evacuation plan as no staff working, security guard not around. Kitchen staff awaiting rides home didn’t know any emergency plan or how to get to top of the roof. Guesses remained in hotel were all from overseas and didn’t have means of transportation, know the lay of the land, or where to go. We were told that the Manager could not be reached.
