An absolute delight to stay here. Beautiful home away from home with very friendly, attentive hosts. Sumptuous decor and furnishings in keeping with house's Grade II listed status. Room overlooked the lawn and walled garden. Modern, spacious bathroom. Very quiet location just five minutes from Aylsham and close to multiple historic village pubs and sights. Generous breakfast each morning. Very easy to park on grounds. Was sad to leave!

Breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit and yoghurt ready for us when we came down followed by cooked breakfast, toast, croissants etc. Cereal was also available. All freshly cooked to order and delicious.

Although only a short break, Jenny made us more than welcome. Comfy and clean room, beautiful breakfast and loads of information on where to eat (good choice Jenny) etc. We'll be back ! 😋

Our stay was marred by the intense smell of heating fuel in the bathroom which permeated the bedroom, necessitating sleeping with the windows open ( then woken by traffic and cold.) The smell was also present in the hall when we first arrived. This was denied by the host, and never mentioned again, but then a spill company turned up after the weekend to replace a pipe from the diesel tank through to the front of the house. This really spoiled what was our anniversary treat. Didn’t like that one couldn’t help oneself to breakfast items only the cereal.

Excellent location for exploring Norfolk. A well-run B&B, very clean and nothing was too much trouble for Jenny the host.

Lovely location, the room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The ensuite bathroom was modern. Jenny was a lovely host and extremely accommodating

Hot water took a few minutes to warm up on the first night. Subsequent nights was significantly quicker. The stay was otherwise flawless.

The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was very modern. The room used for breakfast was lovely and there was a long table so this enabled conversation with other guests. The host Jennie, offered each day to dry my towel and swimming costume which I used for a swim teaching course. he’s made a massive difference to me during my stay.
