When I have a layover at the airport I will always stay at the Avra hotel in Rafina. Met by the shuttle bus at a time that suits me. Includinding a fabulous breakfast. The room is very clean and bed is very comfy.

There is nothing I didnt like about the Avra hotel.

This hotel is a great option for those transiting to and from the Athens Airport. It is convenient, well maintained, near the ferry/port. The restaurant is excellent for dinner or breakfast. It is an excellent value and we were very happy with our choice to stay here.

The hotel is great for catching a ferry in Rafina...steps feom the port. The free shuttle from the airport is nice. The little town of Rafina is fun for a day or two, but access to Athens requires a taxi, so it isn't a home base for an Athens vacation. The rooms are a typical size for most Greek hotels. The beds are comfortable. The sea view is beautiful. The breakfast is very good. The hotel is modern, well-kept, and feels classy.

Nothing about the hotel was disappointing. We would choose the same hotel if access to Rafina port was important.

It was very noisy. You could hear dogs barking, motorbikes and cars revving, and cars passing. Hard to get to sleep

Very convenient if you are looking for a hotel to stay at overnight between flights or before boarding a ferry at this port, as they offer a free airport shuttle. Nicer than we were expecting for the price. Pretty good restaurant too. Not much in the area so wouldn't recommend staying here for a long period.

The location is great, close to the beach and all the restaurants. Ideal for a last night stay before heading to the airport

The sink in the bedroom is a bit strange. Tea and coffee making facilities would be useful. It would be helpful to have some instructions for the heating/cooling system. Our room was too hot and even though we had turned the heating off, we had to leave the balcony door open and the heater kept beeping all night.

We have found that the Avra Hotel at Rafina is a wonderful location to relax before our onward journey. We always stay here when moving around Greece. The free shuttle to and from the airport is a brilliant service. Friendly efficient staff, spotlessly clean modern rooms, lovely sea views and a wide choice of breakfast. Excellent value for money!

Nice room and free shuttle to the airport. Breakfast was good. It happened to be cold and very windy and a short walk to other restaurants at the harbor. Where I enjoyed some fresh fish.

Booked a room and then decided to book for additional night. Couldn't do it by phone they insisted I do it online. So I went online and booked for the additional night. Breakfast was supposed to be included as per my original booking. Stayed the first night went to breakfast all good. Stayed the second night went to breakfast and was informed that breakfast wasn't included I had to pay. Front desk informed, yes , that was the case and I had to pay for breakfast for the two of us. I think it was 12 euro each. So even though I paid the same amount for each night I had to pay extra for the breakfast on the second day. I didn't think that was fair and doubt if I stay there again on my next trip in May.
