Clean & tidy room, just right for a couple.

I liked it all, nothing to dislike

Overall really enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and Dinner were great. Nobody had any negative comments about the quality of the food. As a group of 10 adults at meal time we were all able to sit together and food was served at the same time. Rooms were clean although a little small (this is a 17th century coaching Inn!). Great location in Castleton near to Caverns and Walks.

Staff were very accommodating and friendly, breakfast and evening meals were exceptional, and the choice of real ales was excellent. Definitely would stay again!

The bedroom was lovely and spacious with a large sled style bed. The bathroom had a beautiful show and was a good size.

Our room was next door to the actual pub, accessed from outside. It was very noisy with the traffic from the main road. You could also hear every time someone turned on a tap in the room above and their footsteps as they walked across their room. There was a lot of noise coming from the passage next to the room early in the morning as well.

Location was spot on. Very clean. Breakfast was very good. Main bar was great warm and friendly staff. Free parking opposite.

Room was a bit out dated plus it just had a sky light window so no outlook. But ideal just to get your head down.

Location was good, bed was comfortable but the room was small and shower wasn’t that modern.
