The highlight of this Pousada is the view from the rooms 3 and 4 upstairs. Those two rooms share a nice and large balcony with a view of the Port, Morro São José and one of the surf breaks "Abras". Balcony has a hammock and a table with 4 chairs. It was large enought to store 2 standup paddle boards, surf board, snorkle gear and dey our wet stuff. We would bring breakfast upstairs and start the day looking at the beautiful ocean and waves. Pousada has only 5 rooms, so its nice and small, quiet and chill. Rooms were cleaned daily, and it was very nice to come back to a fresh room. Pousada is the last building on a dead end road, so the road is very quiet road, with no traffic. At night we could hear some music and some buggies from the distance, but that was not too loud and didn't bother us. Room has a newer mini-fridge and good working AC unit, which I normally don't use but I did enjoy it at night. Location was great: 5 minutes walk down a steep dirt road to get to the bottom of Vila dos Remedios (towards Praia do Cachorro), or 5 minute walk up a mellower hill to get to the top of Vila dos Remedios (near restaurant Xica da Silva). We had a buggie and we could park right in front of the Pousada.

Room upstsirs is a bit small, but the nice thing is that we could leave our surfboards and other gear on the balcony. Breakfast was alright, but the fruits were a bit old and sometimes sour. With only 5 rooms, I think the fruit that didn't get eaten would be served the next day. Problem is that fruits would sit outside with no refrigeration for hours each morning. It must be hard to provide large variety of options, and have everything always fresh when there's only 5 rooms.

The room was very clean, the shower water was hot and the breakfast was really good. Every day had a person during breakfast time doing fresh scramble eggs and tapioca. Was available a full kitchen with all kitchen supplies (we used a lot to cook quick meals). The location is pretty good - near the downtown, you can walk 15 min until Conceição, Meio and Cachorro beach; or 10 minutes until bars and restaurantes. On the property’s street has a small grocery store where you can buy water, beer, snacks.

The street isn’t paved (like many others in Fernando De Noronha) and had light rain during 1-2 days what turns the street a little slippery to walk. But we had plastic flip-flops and we were on vacation in a paradise, so it was fun at the end of the day.

The staff is an amazing group of people. They are very enthusiastic about helping you spend a wonderful time.

The access to the property is not that easy. You must walk 5 minutes through a steep street.
