The location is very good and close to many services like Supermarkets and ATMs. The staff are friendly lead by Nyiva at the front desk. They are doing a commendable job and are passionate about their work and workplace. Rooms are clean and the showers are nice.

KasKazi is a beautiful property. However the signs of neglect are evident. When you arrive you are hit by a frontage that has 2ft long grass that has not been cut in eons. The signs of wear and tear are visible all over the property, broken fixtures and a dire need for a coat of paint in some areas. The pool was down for the day when I arrived and I noted that the pool man battles with old and broken equipment, The wifi is a bit of a hit or miss. The beach is rocky and you will need to go up to nomad for a better beach experience. I can only assume that they are yet to make a full recovery after the COVID pandemic that affected many hotels in the area, I hope they will ramp up as we get into the holiday season.

The location was abit better near Ukunda Aira

Poor room service, aged rooms, same breakfast 3 days, they dont change bedding even after request. No hot water even after changing rooms. No room phones. A funny experience is when we requested change of beddings, towels etc, only to find that the staff just made the bed with the same beddings, towels from other rooms very dirty and they dont care. When asked the room service person was very rude. The place is worth not more than $20. Not value for money. Dont try to go there. The place is very dull and silent. We had to leave before our planned date.

The location is excellent but upkeep is generally lacking.

The Hotel requires renovation.

The only thing that lies to you that everything is ok is the reception and the outer part of the building, which has been repainted which plus the outer view overlooking the palmtrees.

Everything, from the staff who are reluctant to help and most are aged so no energy to quickly assist when called upon. To the run down rooms, it was pathetic, water showers without hot water, even after being to a different room. The towels provided were not clear, looked brownish yet clearly one can tell they are supposed to be white, one of the towels was actually torn. No slippers or floor towels provided. The beddings were not as per the standard shown in the pics. Lets not even talk about their meals, am sure most home made meals are far more better( i dint even eat after the first two spoons,same with breakfast the next day), during breakfast, flies were all over the pastries and in raising the concern i was told there was nothing that can be done. There is no value for money not even on one sector of the hotel, this is not even a hotel that should be in any listing until they up their game. My stay was terrible i had to check out before the days i was to stay were over. Two of the staffs i spoke to said when issues from guests are raised, the management hurls insults to them so they have chosen to remain silent. I would highly advise those who would even think about checking in to this hotel to look elsewhere. You will be highly disappointed. My kids hated the place and wanted us to leave after the first night.

The Service was good, Would like to recognise one lady at the reception Ms Niva and Mr Daniel at the bar, they were very welcoming,was of great help and very friendly. Above all we had a fantastic time at Kaskazi.Thank you

We felt that the pricing for the buffet was not at all reasonable, it was a mini buffet,with limited selection on food.

The bathroom, the shower water was pouring everywhere

I asked them to decorate since it’s my honeymoon and they did a very good job from the door to the bed. we liked it.

the hotel was very quiet there was nobody. it was dull. and it was very dark most of the places had no lights.
