Set in beautiful gardens with a wonderful swimming pool this property was a pleasure to stay in.

A beautiful property in lovely grounds with a wonderful pool. Well equipped and comfortable accommodation. I would recommend a car. We arrived late with young children and there was no welcome pack so had to find a late night shop.

Lovely old house beautiful pool could do with up to date information on surrounding area with regards to taxis etc and better security as in the middle of now where Could do with a little more attention on the cleaning even though the house is old this shouldn’t affect the cleanliness of the property

After two years trying we finally get the trip and visited this beautiful villa. The house is lovely and there is enough place for 13 people. Location is also great so you can walk to the village Calonge and you have plenty of restaurants and activities in Cala d'or. Although we had a very nice week in Se Serra Mitjana we have a few complains: the pool wasn't clean when we arrived but it was cleaned after we mentioned it. Also the air conditioning didn't work in every room. Because the villa is old and at the country side you have to accept the ants and the mouses. The weirdest thing was that even we kept the gate and the doors closed someone outsider visited in the house and steals from us new clothes, hats, backpack and other little belongings. We reported the burglar to the police/ civil guardia. Otherwise we had a really good time.

We all made good use of the lovely pool and enjoyed the beautiful gardens. It was so peaceful at all times. The house was well equipped with constant hot water, towels and plenty of space. It was sad to leave ☹️

De locatie is voortreffelijk. De enige opmerking die wij allen hadden is; Slechte bedden en matrassen, deze zijn aan vervanging toe. Gezien de prijs voor 9 dagen met 11 personen vinden wij dat je goede bedden en matrassen moet hebben. Voor de rest was het super.

This ancient farmhouse is a wonderful place to stay. It has the charm you only get when a place has been with the same people for a long time. Rooms are cosy and the garden is splendid. Being just a short drive from great restaurants and beautiful beaches is another bonus. Some bedrooms are on the ground floor make it accessible for wheelchair users. We all loved it!

We booked the finca with our sports group to enjoy some sun & do some workouts. The property is huge & taken care of amazingly. Everything was perfect, thank you for the amazing stay!

Our family spent 3 lovely weeks here. It is a beautiful well-maintained place. We really enjoyed the pool, the great barbecue and the spacious garden. Nearby is a small village with a very nice restaurant where we hade some wonderful family dinners. Morag was lovely and very attentive to our needs. We will come back❤️

It’s a wonderful property and exceeds all expectations, which are already set high from the website pictures. The garden is exceptionally beautiful and well taken care of. We had a week of sitting around the big outdoor table shaded by vines, BBQs galore and lazing around the lovely pool. It’s in a remote, quite setting but actually very close to the town and coast. Although once you arrive you don’t want to leave! Thank you for making our holiday so special. It worked from the ages of 6 to 80 and a lot in between. Very happy days.

Wauw. We had such a beautiful stay. The energie is great. It really feels like home. The pool is big. The garden is insane. The house so personal. I liked that every bedroom had is own bathroom and toilet. The location is perfect. A lot of nice beaches near the house. A supermarket in the neighbourhood. Kitchen big enough for the family. And the outside bbq is very nice. We will come back!

Hemos disfrutado mucho nuestra estancia. La casa es perfecta para un grupo grande como el nuestro (3 familias). Los espacios son amplios, la casa esta bien equipada, el jardin es precioso.

We went 3 families together (6 adults and 7 children) and this house was great for a week in Cala D’or. The pool area and the terrace (were we had all our meals) were simply perfect for our group. We loved it. Really nice quit area and garden. Indoor seem a little dark and equipped with many furnitures, but the bedrooms are simple and really nice. The house is very well equipped with towells, everything you need in the kitchen, parasols and play-things for the beach etc. A car is needed to get around as the villa is in the middle of a small road between Calonge and Cala D’or. It would meet anyones requirements from a quiet lounge where more elderly relatives can escape the younger members as they play table tennis under the vines, to a great pool which is deep enough for the most active members.The BBQ area is large enough to cater for an outdoor party for many and the outdoor eating area is equally generous.The gardens are beautiful and extensive with various areas to sit or lounge in comfort, in sun or shade.The farmhouse itself has both period features and modern, well appointed bedrooms and ensuites which would match any upmarket hotel. All are airconditioned.Our whole party, aged from 13-70 years were very reluctant to leave.

We really enjoyed our vacation. We stayed as a family in three generations and the house was absolutely perfect. It is very spacious with en suite bathrooms to each bedroom. Extremely well equipped and we also enjoyed the pool and large garden. The surroundings are beautiful with sheep and horses and the small village of Calonge within walking distance. Cala d Or with beaches, restaurants and supermarkets are just a short drive away. The house felt like a true home and both the owner and the manager were so pleasant. We stayed for a family holiday with grandparents and young adult children in their 20's. The villa was beautiful. Incredibly spacious with wonderful ensuite bathrooms. It had everything we could want and we all said it was one of the best if the best house we had stayed in. We particularly loved the peaceful surroundings yet it was close to Cala D'or and some great restaurants. All only 5 to 10 mins drive or a cheap taxi ride. The pool was beautiful and being set away from the house a little it meant you could easily escape and have it to yourself! We all enjoyed the table tennis and eating out under the vines. The farmhouse was extremely well equipped and we catered without any trouble for the 9 of us and had a very tasty BBQ one night. The house was immaculate and clean and the caretakers also came midweek during our stay. I don't think I have ever been anywhere so calm when there are 9 of you. It was perfect for finding your own space yet great for big family meals all together. My mother was so sad to leave she cried and is determined to get back there one day! This is THE perfect place to vacation with a group of friends or family. The clean house is large and cool and very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, modern bathrooms and a world class BBQ. The garden and pool area offer plenty of places to relax in and wandering around the huge immaculately maintained english lawn with bare feet brings an enormous child like pleasure. Set amidst rolling farmlands, the ambience is peaceful with the odd tink tonk of the sheep bells and the estate is very private and secure. There is a good grocery store nearby and with the delightful town of Cala D'Or less than 10 minutes drive away there are plenty of great options for eating out. Although I personally would rather stay at home cooking magnificent meals and dining under the grape arbor on the beautiful terrace. Geographically, the estate is located in a beautiful part of Mallorca and there are also plenty of beaches to visit an easy drive away. We have stayed at this lovely farmhouse many times. There is a reason that we keep returning... it is a real home. You can feel it. The home is loved for its comfort and cherished for its old world charm. It has been updated but it has not lost its character. It is not stuffy or formal or sterile or void of personality like some other places we've stayed. The magic begins as you drive down the narrow lane to the house. You pass many old farms and other pretty villas along the way. The entrance to Se Serra Mitjana can sneak up on you but the entrance is a beautiful wrought iron electric gate built into nice stone walls. The long driveway is beautifully bordered by more stone walls and gorgeous flowering vegetation. The house itself is quite grand as you approach it. It is, artistically by chance, festooned with clinging, ivy-like greenery with orange trumpet shaped flowers. Most impressive! The grounds are amazing too with the unexpected vast lawns of green and abundant flowering shrubbery everywhere. The pool is very private surrounded by hedges and stone walls. Perfect for a refreshing morning dip or late night escape. The home has 5 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Most bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are to die for! We love that there is air conditioning in the bedrooms when desired but most nights I do not even think that it is needed. One of my favorite things about staying here is what I call, "The sounds of Mallorca at night." I just love listening to the distant, gentle bleating of sheep mixed with the sweet cooing of doves. It is such a peaceful relaxing sound. Along with the soft breezes gently pushing through the open windows, it puts me to sleep right away. Magical. There is also a very nicely equipped casita with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and lounge. Perfect for guests that might need a bit more privacy. The house is very well equipped for entertaining large crowds for dinner parties. With an abundance of pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, glasses and a welcome dishwasher! There is a terrific BBQ that we have used many times to prepare delicious, succulent meats of all kinds. We have spent many magical evenings under the grape vines drinking and dining till the wee hours. You can tell that the owners have pride of ownership. It is warm, inviting and very clean. It's so nice that they allow others to enjoy the magic of Se Serra Mitjana by sharing it. We truly love this place and will continue to visit! Thank you!

This year was my second stay. The house and property is simply gorgeous. It is an amazing place for a family and/or friends reunion. I can not wait to return next year!

The location and the vibe of this amazing historical house is unbeatable. Just minutes away is the world class marina Cala D'or with enough to keep your family busy all week. I most enjoyed lounging around the pool, hanging around in the beautiful gardens and playing table tennis under the grapes. The family meals and stories shared outside are memories to last forever. It is not easy to put into words what a beautiful place this is. The house is in a great location, on a quiet lane near a small village but still not that far away from Cala D'or with its beaches restauarants and nightlife. It is obvious that much love, time and effort has be spent making this house into what it is,wonderful. The whole house is spacious, clean, and comfortable with all its old traditional features retained, this is old Mallorca. The front door is amazing. Modern bathrooms have been fitted but they blend in with the old so you have the best of both worlds. The large table under the grapevine is just right for the whole family to eat Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. Nice cool shade. Close by is a large BBQ great to gather around whilst the Fish or meat is being cooked. The pool area is big enough for everyone to sit together again there is shade available. Plenty of chairs and sunbeds available. The gardens are kept beautifully, with lots of sunbeds, chairs and small tables scattered about, so many lovely places to relax. Everything you need to have a great holiday has been provided, the owners obviously want visitors to enjoy their house as much as possible. Information about Mallorca is placed in the lounge, giving you good ideas on things to do. Morag looks after the house and she was really helpful whilst we were there, booking a local restaurant for us. All in all the12 of us had a holiday to remember, we plan to be back as soon as possible and I would recommend a stay at the Old farm House to anyone.

We were an extended family of 11 ages ranging from 9 year old twins through teenagers to my mother who is 78. The house catered for everyone. The accommodation is flexible, beautifully maintained, the pool perfect and the garden spacious and pretty. Multiple beaches are nearby, the local village has a wonderful restaurant and the nearest "happening" town - Cala d'or is in walking/bicycling distance for our teenagers who had many a happy evening out. We highly recommend Se Serra Mitjana and will be returning ourselves!

My family stayed here for a blissful week. We had great customer service from the owner John and the house manager Morag. The villa is beautiful and the large gardens are just lovely. Location - wise it is very peaceful - probably a 20 minute walk up to the nearest village, but close enough to Cala D'or for restaurants, shopping etc. Everything about the villa was first class and it has a lovely feel to it. We couldn't fault it in any way. We definitely hope to return !
