Really lovely property, excellent communication from Stephen the host. Stephen was really helpful with help and advice with regards to ferry crossings and the local area. At the earliest opportunity contacted me to let me know that the hot tub was out of use, however recommended a company that we were able to rent one from for the week. This was then set up and ready for our arrival, and we were reimbursed for this. The children and adults thoroughly enjoyed the facilities in the house and grounds, especially the pool and tennis court. We all had a great stay and would book to stay here again. Thank you!

I stayed at the manor with a group of 20 other friends, last weekend and I would thoroughly recommend St Lawrence Manor to anyone. Stephen (who manages the property) has been communicative from the start, providing comprehensive information about the house, being quick to answer questions and solve problems and generally attentive to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Just before we went, a couple of concerning reviews were posted (ref: Tanya and Ellen), which I highlighted to Stephen. We had a conversation about what happened with this trip and their comments were the opposite of what I had experienced with Stephen, so I was confident that these reviews were not an accurate reflection of the manor. The place is is massive - it took us at least 10 minutes to just to explore the labyrinth of rooms. What makes this place special is the large dining room, sitting room and patio space that means that the full capacity of guests (26, I believe) can socialise in the same room. When you want to splinter off, there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained - table tennis, pool, tennis, swimming, hot tub. It's also super close to the beach. The house is kitted out with all the crockery and cooking utensils you need - we made a vat of pasta for 26 with ease in the huge, catering-sized pots- and there are enough fridge freezers and dishwashers for the house too. The bedrooms are comfortable - most have an ensuite and those in the front of the house have a great view over the sea, including a few with balconies too. This is the ideal place for a large family or group of friends. Don't have any hesitation in booking!

Our kids loved the tennis court and the pool and hot tub. It is in a beautiful location with lots of lovely walks and beaches nearby as well as Ventnor.

We stayed her with 23 people, which the house amazing accommodated comfortably! It had everything we needed, easy to get to the local beach, great pool and hot tub and the games room and tennis court kept us entertained the whole time. I would 100% recommend this to big groups looking for a quality time. Only thing I can say is that the house is better in real life than the pictures!

Third year in a row, St. Lawrence Manor House is perfectly suited to our needs as a family holiday venue on the wonderful Isle of Wight! So much space, inside and out, great fun on the tennis court and in the games room, could not recommend the manor more and we have already booked our return for 2020! Thanks again, D xx

Lovely house in an idyllic location. Slept 17 of us comfortably for the weekend. House was well kept and very interesting. Loads of outside space a hot tub and tennis courts. We didnt use the pool as it was June. Stephen was easy to get hold off, friendly and checking in was easy. Stephen also extended our check out to accommodate for our ferry. We had a great weekend catching up and the house easily allowed for that.

Booked St Lawrence Dene, and it’s sister property St Lawrence Manor with 45 friends for a car club event, and they did not disappoint. Lovely old properties, plenty of space inside & out. We had 30 cars and could fit them all on the large driveways. Hot tubs and pool (Manor) were a huge hit. Bedrooms clean, crisp linen, bathrooms clean. Kitchen area was spacious, plenty of room for cooking and entertaining. All mod cons - TV, Sky, wifi, full laundry room. Quiet part of town. The seaviews are spectacular. Small coves nearby. I would recommend these properties to anyone. Excellent accommodation overall.

Was the perfect place to stay for a family break. Lots of facilities in a stunning location. Communication with the owner was excellent and a pleasure to speak with.

Family get together for birthday celebrations, could not have picked a better house and location, so much room and entertainment for everybody, loved the hot tub, view and peaceful location. We will be back!!

What an amazing location, house and hot tub lol. The view from up there is incredible. Definitely will come back. The only problem we had was only having one oven to cook for everyone. Beside that had a great time

Very spacious, well presented and secluded property, in a beautiful location overlooking the water south of the island. Manager was very responsive on email and provided us with discounts on the ferry crossings from Southampton. The accommodation was ideal for our large party, sleeping us all in individual bedrooms and many had suites. The garden is also deceptively big, with a tennis court and multiple tiers of lawn. There was plenty of space for outside caterers to set up a tent, and the hot tub was great for the evenings. Highly recommended.

Great fun had by all (group of 22 adults who holiday today annually as an old school reunion) - impressive holiday house with lots to offer and a quiet and picturesque location we hope to go back to one day. This is a great house to rent for a holiday on the Isle of Wight -- loads of fun stuff to keep everybody entertained, loads of space, ensuites in every room, excellent views of the coast, clean, good communication with the management, ferry discounts much appreciated -- we will return and recommend to others!

The manor was better than ideal for my birthday party in October. A fun trip to the isle of wight with closest friends in and around London. Trains, boats and taxi rides! This manor was bigger and better than anything we could dream of renting in London and everybody had such a great weekend. Clean, well equipped, awesome value for money, helpful manager, easy to book, definitely keeping it in mind for the future!

Excellent time enjoyed by myself and every one of my friends thank you again Stephen! We made good use of the tennis court, table tennis, pool table and hot tub over our extended weekend in September. Walking the coastal paths from St. Lawrence Manor was a delight we'll never forget too. Highly recommended!

We loved the look of the house and the area, it seemed ideal for a big family get together (18 adults and 6 children who try to holiday together every other year!), and it was even better than anticipated! Photos can't quite capture the grandeur and space provided by St Lawrence Manor! Hot tub, swimming pool, tennis court and games rooms were enjoyed by all (even the 80 year old in the family!) and none of us particularly felt like leaving the manor or immediate surroundings (St Lawrence and the views from the manor are beautiful) although we did stumble across Steephill Cove one day which was a delight (below Ventnor Botanic Gardens which was also worth a visit for a lovely walk (just myself and my husband while the others played on the beach!)). I have already recommended St Lawrence Manor to friends and maybe one year we will return again ourselves. Thanks again Stephen

St Lawrence Manor, was a dream booking to help me celebrate my sixtieth birthday, I took my whole family, thirteen of us staying there. No one could believe how large the Manor was, we were all delighted with the place. Though a little tired, it made us all feel very comfortable , the swimming pool, the hot tub and games room and bar were much appreciated. Everybody slept well and the week went exceedingly quickly, it was a dream time , thank you.
