The location was absolutely superb, just a short walk to the beach and beautiful views from the patio. There were cute little touches such as local coffee pods, chocolates & it was really well decorated. The bed was comfortable & the tv was set up with netflix which is a pro too.

Unfortunately a few things needed fixing like the shower, air-conditioning (not ideal for people like us who aren't used to the heat) and the toilet was apparently very sensitive to too much toilet paper. This didn't seem like an issue but we were only left with 3/4 of a toilet roll or tissues for a two night stay.... I'm unsure if this was to make sure the toilet didn't get blocked or not. I messaged the owner but they didn't reply until we had checked out despite them living upstairs. 🙃

Scandi Beach Apartment, Bilgola was perfect as I was visiting lots of friends on the Northern Beaches and needed a peaceful and safe place to relax which was centrally located to Avalon, Newport and the beaches. Jenny was extremely helpful and I loved the apartment especially the verandah and view. I highly recommend Scandi Beach Apartment for couples and those travelling alone.

Location, clean and attractive decor and coffee maker. More pods would have been nice.

Air con plus shower diverter broken plus fly screen ripped and not useable. Parking on street was a problem with a steep climb and many steps to bring our luggage to and from. Over the top to ask us to take out the garbage.

The property had everything you could need for a weekend trip away. The stunning views didn’t hurt either!

Accessing the key through the lock box was tricky but thankfully Jenny and Jonathan helped us out so there were no issues.

Comfortable, modern, nice view.

Room wasn’t overly clean, no milk in fridge.

The Scandi apartment was just as advertised, a beautiful apartment in the hills of Avalon overlooking the ocean and beach. We loved being able to bring our pup, and Jenny was super responsive and made sure we were all set with our stay. We didn’t have a car and walked everywhere, super convenient to the village, cafes and restaurants, many that are dog friendly. The apartment has fabulous amenities, spotlessly clean, plush towels and robes, comfy bed and nice chairs to enjoy the views to the ocean. Loved it, will definitely go back when we’re lucky enough to be in Avalon again!
