Big spa bath was just amazing in cold winter.

There is no wifi and the reception wasn't too good.

We absolutely love coming to stay at Bewong River Retreat. this wasn’t our first time. Lisa is absolutely gorgeous. the rooms and surrounds are stunning.

very very unfortunately the peace , quiet and tranquility were spoilt ( we assumed couples only )when a group of guests used the communal BBQ and pool table situated directly behind the cabins. Both nights they stayed up well past midnight and altho not a rowdy crowd in the quiet of the bush setting their voices , laughing carried into our cabin. such a shame the communal area is not situated far away from the cabins as otherwise it would be the perfect peaceful retreat

Location was very serene, quiet and local to Huskisson, which for us was important. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. The grounds were beautifully maintained and accommodation was very well priced for this time of year especially.

Privacy and serenity of location. Nature at its best. Spa Bath and cleanliness. Fishing on the river.

Great retreat by the river. Very peaceful and the hammock on the verandah was a great bonus as well as the spa bath with jets. Very much enjoyed our stay and loved the dvd library at reception for a night in.

Some more amenities in the kitchen ie: chopping board would be good and perhaps some mosquito repellent

Beautiful position - very private - you couldn't see anybody in any of the other lodges. Nice big space for two of you. When I asked for a casserole dish, it was provided within 10 minutes - amazing service.

Everything is looking a bit dated - the kitchen was not very well provisioned - the handle fell off the tin opener, there wasn't a 'masher', no casserole dishes to cook in the oven. A warning regarding the likelihood of mosquitos would have been helpful (perhaps on the website), provision of fly spray in the lodge would have been good too. The light switch has gone in the bathroom. The signal for the TV was appalling. The fridge is making a weird noise, which we think is because it is running low - probably needs to be replaced.

How peaceful it was. Great location.

The cabin was spotlessly clean, quiet and had everything we needed. I liked the fact that it was completely self contained with a decked out kitchen. The spa bath overlooked the forest which was very peaceful. The hammock was a great additional feature. The environment itself was filled with nature sounds. I liked the wooden floorboards, high A frame ceiling and the comfy lounge too.

We were hoping the canoe would be available as advertised. We were told there are no longer canoes for hire which was a shame. It's about 15-20 minutes to Hyams Beach by car which is fine but the advertisement said 10 minutes.
