We loved this home on Martha’s Vineyard! The location was just a short walk from downtown but set away on a quiet street with a spacious yard. The home was beautiful and immaculately clean. We loved all the little details that made it feel more home-y like the Myers’s hand and dish soap LOL! We Will definitely be back!

Pictures don’t do justice to the warmth and cleanliness of this home! It is beautifully decorated…decorator touches everywhere, and spotlessly clean, we laughingly couldn’t find even a speck of dust anywhere! It’s new and modern, and comfortable as can be. The yard is huge and the landscaping is lovely. The location is very close to town and very convenient. We were really happy we chose this terrific home and would do so again if we return to the area. Many thanks to the hosts for being so conscientious about what they offer their guests…it was very much appreciated by our group of 8 the minute we drove up and then stepped through the front door and saw the beautiful interior. We really had a wonderful stay!

James and Michelle's house is the wonderful added bonus to any trip to Martha's Vineyard. The house is spacious, spotless, impeccably decorated, and has everything you need for an amazing vacation including a fully-stocked kitchen and beach gear. The back deck is fantastic for morning coffee, evening dinners, or just relaxing and reading. The property is so private and secluded, you'll get a feeling of absolute serenity; yet it's only a quick 15-20 minute walk into bustling Oak Bluffs Center. James and Michelle are also great hosts - easy to communicate with, and responsive. Thanks again for a great stay! We'll be back!!

My wife and two young adult children recently visted MV and was fortunate to find this great home. The house was in great condition with many upgrades as listed. Upon arrival, we found a gift left by the owner. The house is stocked with many of the extras needed to help you feel comfortrable in your home away from home. There was also nice soaps throughout the house. The outdoor areas were also nicely furnished with pillows and plants making it a great oasis!

The house is a comfortable, clean, well-appointed property. Wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces to relax, enjoy family and friends. The furniture, linens, appliances and home decor are top-notch. Located in a quiet neighborhood, yet within a mile of Oak Bluffs restaurants and shops. We highly recommend this rental, would return in a heartbeat!

The house:A+, the location A+, this home was so beautifully equipped for cooking and fun, great bedding, great books, a great home to have a number of people or just two, and the kitchen is a great space for cooking without that “I’m not at home” feeling because there was so many kitchen tools. Location allowed for us to travel to all the towns on the island, great game selections and the deck is delightful, just an easy great place to be, the owners were very kind regarding our ferry schedule, just, yeah, you will not regret one thing!!!

The house was fantastic. The road coming in isn't necessarily visible from the road with signage. It is a great home, well laid out for a small get together. The attention to details were superb. There were no staples in the fridge so when you visit you will need to purchase anything you need. It is conveniently located to town and the ferry to Nantucket. I'd definitely stay here again!

This was our first trip to MV and we had a delightful stay at this property. James and Michelle were very accommodating and responsive. The property is on a quiet, nicely landscaped, private lot. There are so many features of the home that made it comfortable. Here are just a few . . . the king bed in the master bedroom had a memory foam mattress, we could easily control the temperature in the house with the air conditioning units, the living room was an open and inviting place to relax and the floor in the master bathroom was heated (bonus!). We took advantage of the laundry facilities. The laundry room was spotless and the equipment brand new. The back yard and patios looked very inviting, but we didn’t stay long enough to enjoy these amenities. The homeowners have a professional housekeeping service to clean the home and they do an excellent job! A few things to note: 1) There are no window coverings on the front entrance or on the windows in the kitchen. Even though the home is on a wooded, private lot, we felt exposed, especially at night when it was easy to see into the house when the lights were on. 2) The two roads leading to property are not paved, so we were grateful we had a SUV to navigate these bumpy roads. 3) It is a short 15-minute walk to Oak Bluffs, but we were surprised to find that the direct route involves walking on the shoulder of a busy road (no dedicated walking path or sidewalk). Overall, we had a 5-star experience, and we would definitely rent this property again.

Jim & Michelle provided the perfect space for my family stay in Martha’s Vineyard. Their spacious New England Farmhouse gave us just the right dosage of the “good life” with all modern amenities. I look forward to my next visit.

This beautiful house was spotless and supplied everything we needed. Great location with a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and town (lots of great shopping, restaraunts and grocery store). It’s also 5 minute walk to a fabulous Caribbean restaraunt, Chef Deon. Some construction in the area but the house sits privately on the property so that was not an issue. I loved sitting out on the deck. Great beach towels provided. Beach chairs were just a tad bit beat up but I forgot to mention this to the owners who were very attentive and I am sure would update the chairs if mentioned. We slept in the room upstairs and my kids enjoyed their rooms on the lower level. I would highly recommend this house for your stay in East Chop.

Great experience overall. This is an updated property with ductless AC units throughout. Very modern as most of the houses in Oak Bluffs are dated. Highly recommend. The pictures do not do it justice. We were all very pleased with the stay and communication from the host.

We loved the house and property. Everything was lovely. The place was immaculate. The tones and furnishings evoked calm and peaceful relaxation. The location was accessible. We would certainly rent from the house again.

The house is extremely comfortable, spacious, attractive, and well-equipped. …. certainly among the best of our many MV rentals. We definitely hope to return next year.

Our entire stay could not have been more enjoyable and relaxing. Felt like home away from home. The home is fully equipped…all you need is to shop for food 😊. The home is absolutely beautiful and extremely close to everything. The homeowner are amazing and promptly replied when we reached out or had questions. I would definitely recommend staying at this property and location.

Great location (quick drive to beaches and in-town), but still a secluded family-friendly home with nice amenities.

This is a beautiful 4 bedroom home that the family loved and would rent again. Clean and beautifully furnished. Linens and beach rowels provided so no worries on bringing those with you. Nice and quiet yet very convenient location to town with easy parking. We have rented for 5 years now and this is our favorite house so far. A great family vacation on MV.

We recently returned from a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The home is located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood with easy access to Oak Bluffs Center by foot, bike, or car. The interior has everything you could need including a wonderfully outfitted kitchen, super comfortable beds, and lovely linens. The outdoor space is great with two outdoor seating areas including a large deck with a gas grill. There is an outdoor shower and fire pit, too. The hosts, James and Michelle, were outstanding. They were quick to respond to any questions and really went above and beyond to make sure our vacation was a great one.

The place was beautiful and we totally enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay there again.

As first-timers to "The Vineyard," we did not know what to expect. This beautiful vacation home exceeded our expectations! The bedding was exceptional as was literally every other detail. This is the first vacation home I've stayed in for a very long time that I was actually sad to leave because the hosts have done such an outstanding job of providing such high level accommodations. The surrounding landscape and gardens provided such a peaceful environment as well. The only noise ever heard were the birds singing in the mornings. We enjoyed exploring the island every day, and looked forward to returning to this amazing home at the end of our day. If we vacation again to the island, this would be our first choice of homes to stay. It was almost like magic!

This was my 3rd annual visit to MV. The past 2 visits were in Aug. Visiting in Oct. had some unexpected perks like less traffic, cool weather and reasonable rental fees. Our stay at this property was very pleasant. I brought several 1st timers and they loved it. I wish we could have enjoyed the fire pit...The location was not easy to find on GPS, but once we figured it out, it felt like a private slice of paradise. The close proximity to Oaks Bluff was the best feature of all.
