The villa is largely pleasant and has a large pool. There are four bedrooms in the main house, two situated underneath the outside dining space and a further large "bedroom situated underneath the games room. The pool we had to keep filling ourselves. The linen not being included in the villa price is frankly ridiculous. In what senario would one be arriving on holiday with their own bedding? There was a further charge for electricity, which seems unreasonable, even in the current climate, as this villa is not cheap and the cost could be random. I have no idea of what the daily tarriff of electricity is in France. We were burgled on the first night of our stay and they perpertrators took a very significant amount of our luggage and belongings, that said we were lucky we didn't disturb them. My brother was staying in one of the rooms underneath the dining area and woke to hear someone trying the rear door to the bedroom. He got up and found the door locked, and decided he couldn't be sure he'd not imagined it. We got up in the morning and upon discovering the theft realised that the rear door to the other bedroom below the dining area was unlocked as was the front door of that room none of our party staying in that accommodation We also later discovered that the rear door of my 79yo mother's was also left unlocked, the villa host later advised us that there was a "knack" to it. The police came the following morning of the robbery and were very unhelpful advising us not to attend the police station that day, in spite of the fact my passport had been taken. The villa host did not advise us that we should attend the police station. A French lawyer friend of mine called having heard about the burglary and insisted we should report to the police station which we did straight away following her phone call. The entire holiday was ruined by this event. We found the villa host very unhelpful in her response to our situation as non french speakers. We all 13 of us ended up having to stay in the main house for the remaining 6 nights in fear of the thieves returning. The key points about this villa is that it isn't sufficiently secure at the rear of the property. Also the villa cannot really comfortably accommodate as many guests as advertised. The top floor of the main house accessed by very steep stairs, not really suitable for young children or older guests. The bedrooms under the dining area are quite dingy and isolated I would not recommend.

This property was perfect for us. Quiet and away from town but only 1.2miles walk to la croisette and 500mts to beach. Local deliveries for food, brilliant amenities including a great kitchen. I couldn’t rate it any higher.

We went with a group of 19 people after our final exams - it was amazing! Relaxing and really fun and big!
