We had a wonderful trip to Genova and Lella was a fantastic hostess. Her communication before we arrived was excellent- she asked how we wanted the bedrooms set up, provided great direction, and reached out prior to our flight and right around when we landed. She met us at the property to check in, gave us a tour, and baked us a delicious cake! She also brought focaccia from a great bakery right near the apartment. She gave all sorts of information about the neighborhood, parking, places to go, etc. she also offered to provide ideas for our trip, help with renting a car, whatever we needed. The apartment had plenty of space for myself, my parents, and my two children (7 & 9) the 3 updated bathrooms were great when we were all getting ready. The kitchen was very well appointed and the balcony provided a calm outdoor space for morning coffee in the sun. She was very responsive while we were there, and check out was a breeze. Castelletto is a perfect neighborhood. It is a 10 min walk to the center but is in a relatively quiet neighborhood. It has everything you would need- grocery store, cafes, gelateria, pizzeria, and gorgeous views! We used the ascensore almost everyday. We felt safe and comfortable walking around at all times and street parking was not too hard to find. Overall we had a fantastic trip, and this was a great apartment. I’ve already sent the link to a few other people planning trips to the area! Lella is a wonderful hostess.

Lella was extremely helpful from the beginning. She was proactive about communicating with us and helping us with checking in, including being very flexible about arrival times. The apartment is huge, beautiful, and extremely well-located. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you'd need. It's just outside of the old city and has building entrances set up to allow easy access to both the lower part of the city and castelletto, one of the lovely neighbourhoods up a hill. We didn't use the parking, but there's a garage on the lower floor of the building, too. Lella had prepared a whole dossier of useful information on Genoa and the surrounding areas. And she lives nearby and was around and available for any questions we had during our stay. And as final touch the cake that she had made to welcome us was hugely enjoyed by all of us, especially my son. We would 100% come back and stay here.

Lella and her husband are wonderful.. They keep their apartment very clean and are always online to help you with doubts. We arrived on a Saturday evening so it was really hard to find a spot to park our SUV so we recommend you go with a small car.

Eine liebevoll und top gepflegte Altbauwohnung in der Altstadt von Genua. Wir, Familie mit 3 Kindern und Eltern haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wenn Du / Ihr die Wohnung seht, es ist einfach alles da. Es ist, wie nach Hause zu kommen und das, ist das grösste Kompliment was wir zu vergeben haben. Danke, grazie, thanks, gracias

The property is a lovely homely place to stay. It is relaxing, the games available provide fun evening entertainment when you have finished eating, in or out. The only point to note is that 2 of the bathrooms have steps up and also the lift access to the apartment also has 3 steps up. Worth noting if your party has disabilities or is infirm.

Tout a été parfait durant notre séjour. Accueil exceptionnel de Lella et de son mari malgré une intervention imposant une marche avec béquilles. Magnifique appartement très bien situé, Tout est prévu pour notre confort et notre agrément, et rien ne manque. Merci également pour tous les très bons tuyaux donnés, dans tous les domaines. Io e le mie amiche abbiamo soggiornato in 10 in questo meraviglioso appartamento e siamo state benissimo. Lella e suo marito sono ospitali e cordiali e i hanno dato tutti i consigli utili per visitare Genova. L'appartamento è situato in una zona strategica, perché è vicino a tutto. Qualche gradino e si è a Castelletto, una passeggiata e si è nel cuore della città, una passeggiata un po' più lunga e si è al Porto Antico. Davvero meravigliosa. Abbiamo amato Genova e adorato questa casa.

Lella and her husband were wonderful hosts. The apartment itself is very clean, comfortable and fully equipped. It has an world elegance you don’t see much nowadays. Comfortable beds and truly a home away from home. The location is superb. There are multiple restaurants close by and the old city is a few mins easy walk. Would love to stay here again.
