If you are looking for an ideal location with the comfort of home, this place is for you. We had a great stay at Moises’s property. It is centrally located for those looking to be away from San Juan, but a 30-40 minute drive to the airport and easy to get to/from places. The villa is fully equipped with all the amenities listed from the kitchen and bathroom, essentials, tv and WiFi along with chairs to bring to the beach. You have the option of going to the property's beautiful pool, or to the beach which is a 5 minute walk away. The additional benefit of being in a gated community and 24/security, and having an assigned parking spot right in front of the villa was great. And lastly the wonderful hospitality of Moises neighbor Mari who was there to greet us upon our arrival and departure. She even went out of her way to find and give my mom seashells she was looking for. Mari, gracias por las hermosas conchas que encontraste para mi mamá. Por último, gracias a Moisés por recibirnos.

I had to clean dog poop from our front door every morning. The windows in the bedrooms are locked because the pigeons have taken over the small balconies on the second and third floors. c) Mosquitos: There is a dirty lake in the middle of the Villa. Bring your bug repellant.

I’m a Puerto Rican living in the US looking for a beach house at a good value. Nothing beats the value of staying at Moises’ villa at Dorado del Mar, Villas de Playa II. Just FYI, the VRBO map locates the villa one street north of where it actually is. I noticed this before getting there (so it didn’t come up as a surprise), as Moises established a great dialogue with me from the time I started shopping for a beach rental until after I left the villa..! Moises was an excellent host, super flexible and accommodating to my changing needs (which were many..!) The villa is very comfortable, the A/C in the bedrooms is nice and cool, and the 3rd floor master suite feels like the “top of the world”. The ground floor with dining and living areas is spacious for a families of 4 to 6, plus visitors, especially as we overflow to the back terrace facing the common garden that leads to the beach. Sometimes we’d bring the chairs out and hang out there feeling the beach breeze. The beach is like a 3 minute walk from the villa. The dining area was nicely set up, however the back terrace also has a dining table that fits 4-6, so we had all our meals comfortably there. Also, the kitchen is fully equipped, so we either cooked, or ordered food from the many places within a 1-2 mile radius. In addition to having Moises available a phone call away, his neighbor Mari from a few doors down was also attentive to any of our needs or questions. We had to check out on an early morning, so she was super helpful for turning in the keys and beepers, and “beeping” us out of the gated community. The community is super safe and constantly patrolled. I initially selected that villa imagining my kids roaming around the common garden and the “resorty” grounds. (My kids didn’t end up going, but I did see other kids roaming the garden :) In the end, thanks Moises, it was an awesome stay, hope to be back.

The WiFi and streaming media TV worked well for late night relaxing. Getting to and from the property is slightly hampered by many speed bumps and property security fences, but it is comforting to be in such a secure neighborhood. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby are nice. Short walk to the beach and a clean, fresh-water community pool. We highly recommend this property if you are looking for a relaxing stay in PR.

Moises made our stay very easy and was available for questions. The location was very convenient for our trips to various sites and we enjoyed the nearby beach bars and restaurants. His home was comfortable, secure and clean. We recommend this listing and hope to return ourselves.

I stayed at Moisés's place for 5 nights with my two children. We all liked the place very much. It had everything we hoped for: a fully equipped kitchen, laundry machine and dryer, a beautiful queen bed room, two other bedrooms with bunk beds, a terrasse with a dining table, air-conditioning in the bedrooms, several fans in the living room, big tv and wifi that worked in all three floors. The place was very clean and everything worked well. We parked the car right in front of the apartment, not that we needed it very much: the beach was just a one or two minute walk away and there was also a very nice pool we spent a lot of time in. The neighborhood was calm and safe, we didn't need to worry about anything. Moisés was a very friendly host and communication with him was easy. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes to feel at home in a vacation home.

Great and high secure location. Do not be in puerto rico with out a car. Moisés is a fantastic host and gave us good response and help during our stay. You will love this place close to two beaches. 2 and 7 minutes walk.

This property while being an older building was very comfortable and quiet. The complex is right across the beach, and it has a pool as well. The pool was clean and if you have kids (toddler aged) they will enjoy the kids pool. The condo is located next to the Dorado Embassy Suites. At the entrance for the residential area there is a gate. You will get an opener with the house keys for that gate and then another one for the parking area at the condo. This makes the coming and going much easier! My family tried three beaches near the condo ( across the street, the Dorado Public Beach or balneario, and the Cerro Gordo balneario) all of them different and unique in their own way. We went during the Christmas season so the beaches were not crowded during this season. We used Google maps to get everywhere and it worked! For grocery shopping try searching for Amigo instead of the Supermax that is five minutes away. Their produce is better quality. I always got fresh baked bread every morning! It took maybe about 15 minutes round trip. The rooms all have A/C and you the two and a half bathrooms. The half bathroom is right next to the front door. That was great to have since we were traveling with our son, who is a toddler. Moises is very accommodating and he will promptly answer any and all questions to make your stay go smoothly! The facility was a little dated. The villa was very nice and well kept. The owner was very accommodating. The location is great. I would recommend to anyone interested. I plan on rescheduling the next time I plan a trip to Puerto Rico.

My husband and I rented Moises's villa for a long-term stay this winter. It was very comfortable and fully equipped. The sun porch off the master bedroom provided a quiet getaway for reading. The kitchen was well equipped, and it was nice to have a washer and drier. The villa complex is an older area, and while some of the individual units need care, Moises's property was clean and well maintained and Mosies was available to answer questions. When one of the air conditioner units stopped working, repairmen were sent immediately. Excellent customer service! The grounds were constantly maintained, and the pool was wonderful! The beach was very handy (and nice). I felt quite safe being in the complex by myself when my husband travelled back and forth for work. The private security guards were present on the property at all hours. We enjoyed the ease with which we could get to Old San Juan by taking the ferry at Catana. The beach restaurants/bars were fun to go to, and I appreciated having a modern grocery store within a few minutes' drive. Also, having Walgreens and CVS nearby was handy. There is so much to see and do in Puerto Rico. Dorado was very convenient as a "home base" and Moises's villa was an excellent choice. We hope to go back to the Dorado area and will certainly rent the villa again if it is available.

The property was spacious, well kept and fully stocked (soup to nuts). One of the features we enjoyed and took advantage of was being close to where the local fisherman sell their day's catch. We spent the day at the beach and then purchased / cooked a 7 lb. lobster. The location is ideal; close to San Juan, Condado and not far from El Yunque, Luqillo and Rio Grande. It was a perfect family vacation! Thank you, Moises, for the orientation and for having such a lovely place. I look forward to future trips and hopefully, you will still have your place available to rent.

My husband and I and our 3 young adult children spent Christmas week at Moises' Dorado condo. The unit was just as pictured, nicely furnished with 3 bedrooms, 2 with bunk beds and 1 with queen bed - be aware that it is three floors with the master bed and bath on the third floor - not a problem for us as we were happy to get the added exercise. The balcony off the master suite was the best place in the condo! It is in an older gated community and does show it's age some - this is not a shiny, new condo. But it was very clean and we had everything we needed including new appliances (loved the French press), travel mugs, containers, beach towels and even a cooler. There were not many people around and several units were abandoned and in severe disrepair. However, the grounds were well maintained and the pool was fabulous. You will have one key and one car remote so all coming and going needs to be well coordinated since you need the key to lock and unlock the condo, enter or leave the pool and enter or leave the communities locked gates. We walked to the Dorado Beach everyday, past lively bars and restaurants with lots of people hanging around and enjoying themselves. The park was very comfortable and safe with joggers and families always present. We usually walked 10 minutes west towards the Ritz Carlton property where the beach was cleared and more deserted. No jellyfish, some seaweed, no undertow and small waves - enough to body surf or boggie board. We had a car and spent a day at the beautiful Loquillo and Farjado beaches, a morning at Old San Juan, a morning in El Yunke zip-lining and a full day driving all the way around the west side of the island - Jobos Beach was fantastic, rented a surf board for several hours, and snorkeled and swam in the Bio Bay in Parguera. The grocery store and pharmacy were 10 minutes away, right near the community entrance. Since we wanted to see several places on the island, the central location of Dorado worked well for us. Make sure you have a current road map of the island - driving was very challenging with extremely poor signage and lots of traffic around San Juan. Moises was a wonderful host - very helpful and accommodating. He allowed us to arrive a night early due to travel plans, even meeting us at the condo at 2:00am. We had some problems with the Wi-fi which he took care of very quickly. He was very helpful with information about the area, too. We would definitely recommend renting from Moises to anyone.

The property was clean & well maintained. Except The bathtubs could use a really good scrub down. The amenities were perfect, the kitchen was well equip, they were plenty of towels for all, including pool towels. The porch was perfect to relax after a long day of touring the island. The property is close to lots of good restaurants, shopping, beach and not far from the metropolitan area.....Can't forget the casino. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. The owner Moises was very helpful and pleasant. Thank you again Moises.

Si quieres descansar y alejarte del ruido te recomiendo esta propiedad.Las facilidades son muy buenas tienes la piscina bien cerca de la propiedad al igual que la playa esta al cruzar la calle.Te recomiendo la playa que esta al lado del balneario ya que es mas grande y no tiene tantas piedras. La propiedad esta muy bien equipada, la pasamos muy bien. Hay de todo muy cerca del sitio tales como restaurantes,supermercados,cines en fin de todo. Moises fue muy atento con nosotros y estuvo siempre pendiente a cualquier necesidad. Gracias y pensamos volver en otra oportunidad...
