Beautiful for romantic getaways

Peaceful location with lovely views. Pool was lovely, with good number of sunbeds and parasols. Amazing work by the cleaner, who kept the pool area and rooms (cleaned daily) so clean. Good sized room and adequate balcony. We enjoyed the breakfasts. Good communication with hosts/owners prior to arrival.

I found the shower was nice and hot in the evenings but only just warm enough in the mornings. The room was as expected, but the kitchenette area was rather small. The stray cats were a bit of a nuisance!

What a great place to end our holiday. After exploring the north and east part of the island, we were looking forward to some relaxation and Alegria Kefalonia did not disappoint! Firstly, the hosts , Chris and Dimitrios were so friendly and welcoming. We were very grateful for all of the recommendations of beaches to visit! The room itself was very spacious and we enjoyed the balcony overlooking the grounds, the pool and the sea. A wonderful place to relax, perfect to chill by the pool after being at the beach. Whilst we had a car, Alegria is close by to the main part of Katelios if you wanted to walk into town. We miss it already.

Lovely little complex. Extremely clean, lovely owners, who are extremely helpful, with lots of ideas on places and beaches to visit. The pool area is fab, we had it to ourselves a lot of the time. Breakfast was lovely, just enough. I’m vegetarian so had fruit and yogurt or cheese omelette, perfect for me . I think car hire is necessary if you want to get out and about.

Beautiful apartment, ever so quiet and peaceful. Wonderful and friendly hosts. Pool and surrounding area were spotless and maid was superb. Breakfast is ok, but a buffet would have been better. Location is approx 15 min walk into Katelios. A car would be useful for shopping and water trips as no nearby supermarket. We had room 104 which is the biggest out of the 7 apartments. For 2 days, we had the whole pool area to ourselves. Katelios is perfect for relaxing, but a definate no-no if you want to party. There are several nearby beaches, including a nudist beach which is the one we used. Beautiful clean sand and crystal clear water. Chris and his brother are the perfect hosts and whilst they are not at the complex 100% of the time, this is not a problem as we usually saw them 2-3 times a day as they also own the Alegis apartments nearby so spend their hard working day between both apartments. Breakfast was a little basic, but tedious after 11 nights. Better choice of food would have been perfect.

From the minute we arrived to the time we left , we loved it! Chris and Dimitris are both lovely. Both very helpful and answered any queries we had before we arrived . The place is spotless. Fantastic rooms with great bathrooms. lovely pool area with plenty of beds for everybody to use. Very quiet area which was great for us as we like to walk into the village.
