Like some reviewers have said the photographs do not do the property justice. On arrival we were all surprised by what greeted us. There were 4 of us and it was perfect, all the rooms were spacious and the terrace was ideal. Starting inside, everything was catered for from the large tv/satellite to the cooler box to take to the beach. Pool/beach towels were provided, there was pool and beach toys and a parasol to take to the beach, sun loungers, the kitchen was fully equipped including ice blocks in the freezer for the cooler box. The welcome pack was also much appreciated. Sam the property manager stopped by to welcome us and offer any advice or answer any questions if needed. She also responded quickly when we had a question later on in our stay which was good. The property is a 10 minute walk to the beach and roughly half hour into town (depending on how quick you walk). The whole area is quite up and down so it is a good place to get you fit but we went for the taxi option when going into town. On Sam’s advice, we used Uber for our taxis. We used to get dropped off just passed the pro putting green at the back of the town and this was roughly 4 to 4.5 euros per trip. The town is a lovely place to visit and it’s definitely worth wandering the back streets rather than sticking to the main street and square.

Die Ferienwohnung, die wir Mitte Juni für 10 Tage gemietet haben, war sehr schön, modern und sehr sauber. Die Zimmer waren groß, besonders das Wohnzimmer. Die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Sogar ein Entsafter mit dem wir jeden Tag frische Orangen gepresst haben war da. Eine Waschmaschine bafand sich auch in der Küche. Die 100m2 Terrasse konnte man von jedem Zimmer und Küche betreten. Dort stand auch ein Grill. Im Wohnzimmer steht eine Stereoanlage mit vielen CD's und auch viele Brettspiele. Für den Strand gibt es Sonnenschirme und Beachballsets. Der Garten und Pool waren sehr gepflegt und sauber. Als wir ankamen war der Kühlschrank mit einigen frischgekauften Produkten gefühlt z.B Milch, Bier, Wein, Kartoffelchips was uns sehr gefreut hat. Die Wohnung hat auch eine Tiefgarage. Wir wurden von der netten Menagerin telefonisch begrüßt und gebeten bei allen Fragen sich an sie zu wenden. Zum Strand sind etwa 7min zu Fuß und in die Stadt 20min . Der Kontakt mit der Eigentümerin war sehr nett und professionell. Wir würden die schöne Wohnung immer wieder mieten und jedem Empfehlen.

We had an absolutely amazing time in Porto de Mos and due to the first few days being wet, the amazing apartment made the trip even more enjoyable. I would like to thank Susan and Sam for being so helpful through out our stay and the welcome pack is such a lovely start to our stay. It would be 5 stars, but due to us having 7 people, we did use the hot water quite quickly and some had to have cold showers. That was the only downside for the whole trip, the apartment and location was fantastic!

We stayed here in the October half term, the apartment was immaculate and we loved it from our arrival with the great welcome pack which was much appreciated as we arrived late at night!! As others have said the rooms are very generous and there was plenty of space for our family with 3 children.The outside area and pool area were very well looked after. The communication from Debbie and Susan was great from the booking process to during the stay, (we had a problem with their washing machine and it was sorted with no bother by their property manager.) The location was great for a 7 min walk to the beach (with 2 great restaurants) and then we used uber (less than 5 euros), to Lagos centre when we went out which worked out well! Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Estuvimos 10 días y nos habríamos quedado otros 10!el sitio es increíble, tranquilo, muy grande y confortable. Todo en perfecto estado. The apartment in Porto do Mos is lovely. The owners are extremely helpful and are helped locally by Samantha who cannot do enough to help make your stay perfect. The photos do not do the size of the apartment justice. Three huge double bedrooms and a sitting/dining area easily big enough for us with three children. The apartment is fully stocked with everything you need and a handy welcome pack is provided (including wine!) which is a lovely touch. The walk to the beach is a little hilly but takes only 10 mins and you are a 6 Euro taxi ride to Lagos for evenings out. Much recommended.

I'd highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a well-appointed, family friendly place to stay in Lagos. The property itself is gorgeous (pictures are nice, but don't do it justice). The owners and property manager literally have thought of everything possible to ensure an amazing holiday-- from 'the basics' you might expect to some very special touches (e.g. a 'welcome kit' is provided to start you off with beer, wine, milk, juices, and a number of other food items; they have a very comprehensive guide to the area with things to do, recommendations for restaurants, maps, etc; they provide beach supplies including towels and sand toys for children. If we return to Lagos, I would love to stay here again.

Das Apartment ist sehr geräumig und bietet alles, was man im Urlaub brauchen kann. Es hat eine tolle Terrasse mit genügend Liegestühlen, Tischen und Stühlen auf der man wunderbar die Sonne und die Mahlzeiten im Freien genießen kann. Bei heißem Wetter ist es nicht weit zu einem erfrischenden Bad im Pool. Die Küche ist sehr gut mit Geschirr ausgestattet. Die Umgebung ist atemberaubend mit ihren tollen Stränden rund um Lagos und alles ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und danken für die Nutzung des Apartments.

The apartment is in a well designed complex with lovely pool shared with a few other units. The apartment is spacious and well equipped and allowed our family of 5 to have a very relaxing holiday with several trip to the beach and old town and many hours in and by the pool. All the logistics were clearly communicated and customer service was superb. Highly recommended!!

We've stayed here before and it's always our first choice! Fabulous apartment which is always immaculate with everything you could possibly need. The terrace is large and you're spoilt for choice on where to sit. Lovely and secure for the children and the pool and gardens are tranquil and beautiful. The owners are always very helpful and seem to think of everything. Perfect place to relax on holiday.

Very spacious, modern, well equipped apartment with a large terrace, looks exactly as shown in the photos. Set in a very quiet area, 10 minute walk to a lovely beach which has a couple of beach bars. Would definitely recommend a car as the property is on the edge of town. There are well kept gardens around the pool area and while we were there we practically had the place to ourselves. Recommended as a great place to stay.

Just arrived back from a 10 night stay at this lovely apartment, it has everything you need and the whole set up is well catered for. It is spotless throughout and a very comfortable villa, the pool is exactly 20 steps away from this villa LOL .. exceptional [place to base our holiday and fully recommend this.

This is our second stay at the apartment which is delightful and suits all of our requirements. The apartment is fully equipped, light, airy and very comfortable. It is located between Praia da Luz and Lagos, both with lovely beaches and restaurants. The apartment is a short walk to the lovely Porto de Mos beach but we recommend a car to explore the Algarve. We stayed at the apartment for five weeks and it really is home from home. The pool area was quiet during our stay, allowing very peaceful sunbathing and use of pool and jacuzzi. The owners of the property are very accommodating and our rental was handled efficiently from booking through to the end of our holiday. The Home Team were waiting for us on arrival and are extremely helpful and accommodating. It was good to have a welcome pack on our arrival so that we did not have to rush out to the supermarket. We are looking forward to another long rental next year, if we can wait that long! We highly recommend this property.

Our second stay in this beautiful and spacious three bed apartment and enjoyed our time just as much as the first time. Spotlessly clean and well equipped including beach towels (which as we were travelling Ryanair made a difference to the dreaded weight allowance!) The welcome pack was amazing and Linda who managed the property was really helpful and gave us lots of local information. Spent most of the time sat by the pool area which is beautifully maintained and never crowded. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Thank you
