We stayed here and managed to explore the whole island by car, did plenty of wonderful walking. The hosts were on hand on whatsapp to answer any questions. The appartment was well equipped and comfortable and the view was incredible from the terrace. We were the only guests so it was very quiet and peaceful.

Nothing, apart from the millipedes!!

The casa is located in the most beautiful place on La Gomera, with spectacular view of the valley and green mountains, and very quiet as it is quite isolated. The nearest village (and supermarket) is 7km away. We did not have a rental car and on the day of our arrival the only restaurant nearby was closed... Our hosts were the kindest people as they provided us with a very lovely soup and other food since we did not have anything to eat. We gave a barbecue, and in return again they made breakfast for us one day. And on the final day they brought us along back to the ferry so that we did not have to call a taxi. Really, these people are amazing. The casa itself is very well equipped and has a lovely terrace with sun from 12h onwards.

As a very small minus compared to all the plusses, the matrass on the largest bed was a bit old and thin in the middle.

Nice appartment with a great view on the surroundings. Clean with all equipement you need. A lott of hiking tracks in the neighbourhood.

Get used to the small insects.

The place is beautiful. It’s very quiet and peaceful, the view is absolutely stunning. Grocery shop, gas station and restaurants are nearby. The hosts were very friendly and went above and beyond to make the stay great.

Return for the second time as like it here. Quiet place with wonderful view to the landscape, mostly hillside, sea far on the horizon. Nice owner, good communication. Satisfactory casa equipment, good strong wifi, top rated terrace.

As remote area, car is must. Position on a little bit cloudy part of the island if commonly partly cloudy sky on La Gomera.

Raúl and his family were fantastic hosts. They attended to our every need and made us feel like family. We felt like we had an authentic La Gomeran experience for the duration of our stay. The apartment had everything that we needed; it was clean and very comfortable. The terrace is beautiful and the views from there across the barranco are amazing. We spent most of our time there and loved sitting out, eating, drinking the local wine and drawing the gorgeous surroundings. We will definitely return to Casa Azul and highly recommend it to anyone who fancies a relaxing holiday. Thank you to Raúl, Raúl’s family and to Chano for making our holiday special! Hasta pronto!

Casa Azul is very conveniently located close to Vallehermoso. The house was easy to find and our host was always responsive to give us helpful advice (we did not have a chance to meet in person as he was away but always answered promptly to our questions). Awesome view from the terrace !

The house was clean but flipside is that it smell a bit too much cleaning products !
