The house was full of ants all over the benches and over the floor boards and walls. The house was that hot you couldn't sit inside and relax and you certainly couldn't sleep especially upstairs in the master bedroom. If you managed to get to sleep you were awake when the sun came up because the blinds are only sheer, no blockout blinds. The best part about the house was the tennis court. The house maybe fine for winter, but definitely not for summer. The outdoor living areas don't even have any shade. I would have thought an architecturally designed house would have had air conditioning and only realised the day before check in that it wasn't.

This gem of a hideaway is peacefully set in bush land amidst plentiful wildlife - black cockatoos and kangaroos just two to mention - and yet is within easy reach of all that Margaret River has to offer. The spacious home had everything we needed including a very well equipped kitchen and multiple spaces in which to relax. A very enjoyable stay!

Amazing house!
A stunning home nestled amongst trees with a short walk to Surfers Point and Prevally. Beautiful stone fireplace and light coming in from huge windows . Mischa was delightful to deal with and sent so much information on the area that we knew exactly where to eat , walk and shop for local produce. A very special for us.

Perfect getaway in beautiful home equipped with everything you could need.
The Summerhouse was equipped with everything we could possibly need for an amazing stay. The house and location were beautiful and we enjoyed the evening stargazing from the huge deck and the private tennis court as highlights. The hosts have thought of everything and made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable.

Modern designer home with everything you could need. Clean and well put together though main bedroom can get hot in height of summer. Great for wineries and prevelly.

Outstanding House/Property
We recently stayed at The Summer House for two nights whilst visiting Margaret River for a concert at Leeuwin. The house was perfect. It is very spacious, well equipped and in a fantastic secluded location although close to everything you need. You could feel nothing but relaxed surrounded by the natural bush. We would love to stay again in winter to take advantage of the amazing log fire!

Seclusion and tranquility , outstanding location
The Summer house is the perfect place to enjoy the natural beauty of the Margaret river region. The property situated amongst bushland is an outstanding example of luxury accommodation. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Tennis court was a fabulous addition to this amazing property. One which I will certainly return to.

Great Location
We were a group of six adults who stayed here. There was plenty of room so that we all had our own space if we wished. The house was delightful, a quiet retreat yet close to town. The house is fully equipped, with all the kitchen utensils one could need. The owners are very well organised and made our stay a breeze.

Special setting!
Summer House is an architecturally distinct gem set in the midst of a beautiful natural wooded 8+ acre plot. Totally private, yet less than 5 min from Prevaly Beach and 10 min for MR town! Nice outdoor seating, walking paths and fabulous tennis court--with spectacular view--to boot! Highly recommended.

Loved the Space
With three couples sharing we were looking for a large spacious property to ensure we all had our own space yet could come together to enjoy each other's company. We found The Summer House perfect for this. A large, spacious and beautifully laid out house set amongst bushland. It was quiet and private yet close to Margaret River, Prevelly Beach and the wineries and attractions.
I would point out however if you need a darkened room to sleep then you will need to bring a face mask with you as the bedrooms have lots of windows to enjoy the views and though all have blinds the sun comes through them very early in the morning bringing in a lot of light.
We all spent a wonderful few days in The Summer House and I would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy the Margaret River region. I will definitely rebook this property.

The perfect Margaret River escape! Our stay at The Summer House was great. The house is very spacious with a large kitchen, a beautiful open fireplace, and all the other amenities that one would expect from a five star hotel. There are some nice extras like books to read, DVDs to watch, and even a tennis court! Would definitely recommend this residence for a luxurious stay down south.
