The first floor location was perfect for popping out to the pool or standing near the sea wall to view lots of turtles! The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for our family of 6! We spent most of time in Kihei and time in Lahina. We were 20-30 minutes from destinations. Would stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is so peaceful and quiet overall. So close to the Ocean to hear the waves day and night. We had a 4 year old grandson and the pool was nice. Although we didn't spend a lot of time in the pool. We appreciated the BBQ that were available. We would love to come back and stay in the same room. We loved being on the ground floor. The best stay we have had in Maui.

This location is beautiful. Great view of the water, and the whales jumping right out in front of us. The condo was clean and in a very convenient location. This is for someone that wants to relax, not looking for the nightlife.

We absolutely loved our stay here! I booked this condo for my family of 5- (3 kids between 5-10) and we all loved it. Communication was quick and easy when we had a question and they checked in once or twice as well. Everything was nice and clean, the kitchen is well stocked. The view is so beautiful and we saw sea turtles and crabs every morning that swim right up to the rocks that are along the perimeter. We felt so relaxed and enjoyed coming back to a very chill area/home after busy days of exploring. The unit is directly next to the pool so it was nice to be able to just walk directly from the lanai to the pool in a few steps. The beach is a few minute walk and was nice and quiet and never overly crowded and the house is a nice central location for all the excursions you’ll want to do and is then a short walk to a market, Maui Ocean Center, harbor tours and some restaurants. I was nervous that the listing was too good to be true but it turned out to be perfect! Thank you for having us- we will be back again!

This condo was centrally located, which was great getting around the island. The condo itself was very clean and had beautiful upgrades. We loved that it was on the ground floor, so we can walk out on the grass to enjoy the ocean. Overall we loved stay, and will be back in the future.

The property was just as described. The sofa bed isn't super comfy but the a/c works well in all the rooms. The condo is a little older but it was clean and had everything we needed. The beautiful back yard backs up right to the ocean and it's fun to watch the surfers. This is a great central location on the island and we were able to get most places in under 30 minutes.

Amazing views from this apartment. Not many restaurants near by however everything is a short drive away. Highly recommend staying here.

The view from this condo is defiantly amazing!! We loved whale watching every morning. Loved that it was right next to the pool for the kids. Downsides were the wifi was absolutely horrible and needed some better frying pans. Only had one big one and it was horrible.

Second bedroom was a box spring with a 3 inch foam pad (not what expected or appreciated or advertised) Grounds and location excellent. Whales and turtles all day every day just off shore. Clean unit. All appliances working order. Friendly condo complex.

Would stay here again. Great location.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Lauloa #105. Having a ground floor condo with aging parents was easy. Access from parking lot to pools and BBQ was simple. Best part was whale watching from our patio!! Air conditioning has been upgraded and worked to well. We will be back. Location was great!!

This condo is within walking distance of a lovely beach that not many people know about. You can walk off the lanai onto the grass and down to the edge of the seawall where, sometimes, you will see turtles feeding! In January, we saw lots of whales out in the bay. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well-appointed, the wifi works :-). We would happily come back to this place.

Great location central to all of Maui's attractions with sunrise view over Haleakala mountain. Close to Ma'alaena Beach that is walkable all the way to Kihei. Only complaint is 2nd bedroom mattress was very uncomfortable, seemed more like a pull out couch mattress than what you'd expect on a king sized bed.

The view from the property was amazing. Lots of sea turtles to view. Very quiet but still close enough to some good food. We enjoyed Maui!!

Great place to stay! The best part is the amazing view as you walk into the condo and from the master bedroom. So close to the ocean! Loved sitting in lawn chairs on the lawn that were provided .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Incredible views and waking up to the sounds of crashing waves. Centrally located to all Maui has to offer. Great Harbor/shops nearby. Beautiful unit and grounds. If we return to Maui it would be here.

We loved how cute the condo was and the location. Our group of 5 fit perfectly. On our second day, I messaged the property manager because one of the bathroom sinks was clogged and another bathroom had a burned out light bulb. They said someone would check, but we never had anyone come and never heard back from them again. On the fourth day, my dad pulled out the drain and cleaned the disgusting guck himself. He wanted to buy a lightbulb, but I assured him it would get fixed. It never did during our 5 day stay. We also had no body soap for the showers.

I am in love with this spot. The condo is very tastefully decorated and very very clean. The linens are absolutely top-shelf. The appliances are all new. Of course the highlight is the view. To start, you can watch the sun rise over the peak at Haleakala from your pillow in the master bedroom. The moonrise is over the valley, illuminating the entire bay. Step outside on to the lawn (like a putting green) and you're ten steps from the sea wall and countless turtles! Walk a few feet down to find steps to the water for incredible snorkeling and spear fishing. And if that's not enough, take a short walk to the harbor to find a boat to take you to Molokini. A short walk the other direction down the dead end street takes you to a very quiet and completely undeveloped beach; see what Maui was like before the hotels! And if you're there in the winter, your entire panorama is highlighted with humpback whales teaching their newborn calves to breach! If wildlife viewing is of interest to you, there is no better place on Maui than this.I can't wait to return.

Staying oceanfront in Maalea is so amazing. Turtles in the water, gorgeous sunrise over Haleakala, whales breaching right off shore. So peaceful. And all points are only 20-30 min away. Easy access to early morning snorkel and whale watch trips at the harbor. #105 is an adorable unit. So nicely decorated and renovated. Only down fall I found was the window unit a/c was hard to keep bedrooms cool at night. Large glass patio door is a great view but heats up in the daytime. The two king beds were very comfy and they had all you could need in the kitchen. Washer and dryer was a huge plus.

We stayed here with our 2 kids aged 6 and 9. There are a lot of pros to this property... the view is unbelievable! The sunrises are out of this world and you can see the whales while you drink your morning coffee or evening beverage. The nearby beach is perfect for a long walk or jog and is pretty much empty (5 minute walk to the beach). The condo is well equipped, clean and beds are super comfortable! Things to consider... this is not a resort area. Could be a pro or a con depending on what you are looking for. It’s very quiet and peaceful but there isn’t much nearby. You need to drive to restaurants, snorkeling spots, etc. Also if you enjoy running on vacation or long walks, aside from the beach route, there is absolutely no where to run. Strava recommends running on the highway... I would not. I did 8 miles along the beach once which was incredible, but with the sand and slanted surface, my back hurt the next day. There is an AC unit that works well but we had it off most of the time so we could leave the windows open for the natural breeze and hear the ocean waves. Does get hot in the bedrooms at night. All in all, great stay and loved the ground floor room!

Excellent view. Good first floor access to ocean not beach. Quiet. Having washer and dryer was convenient. Comfortable. If cold bedrooms are desired, there is only one air conditioner for unit. However, there are multiple fans to increase air movement. Extremely responsive property managers who were flexible with rescheduling because of covid.

Nice property, great location with whales right off the patio! Perfect spot that was nice and quiet (except for us...) close enough to Kihea, Lahaina, etc. for a quick run. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall enjoyed the condo very much. It’s beautiful to be able to sit on the lanai and watch the whales. Just be forewarned that as far as air conditioning, there is only one small unit in the living room that does not really reach into the bedrooms. So, if staying cool matters to you, you might want to look for something else. There are a lot of ceiling fans and standing fans though.
