We had a wonderful stay. Great location and lovely view. The house was clean and had everything that was needed. The concierge was friendly and helpful. We had a great vacation.

We absolutely adored this property. Perfect for the three of us, easy to work with the owner, perfect place to get to Cannes, Nice, Eze and Monaco. A must stay! Outstanding views.

The listing on Vrbo accurately described the villa. We loved the views and the reference book completed by Claire was so helpful. The outdoors seating was great and the place had everything that you need. The parking space is tight, as mentioned in the listing but we managed to fit a Peugeot station wagon in to the spot. Mini vans probably wouldn’t fit but other spots are available. Definitely would stay here again.

What a superb villa with its amazing views and beautiful furnishings. Lots of wonderful touches such as the arrival food package. Claire was so helpful with plenty of communication and notes on the villa , all very thoughtful . We would love to stay again.

Villa Mimosa was a great property, with lovely views and close to Saint Paul de Vence. It even has a pétanque court! Claire was extremely responsive to any questions. I would highly recommend it.

Having stayed at Villa Mimosa for eleven nights recently, we are struggling to find adequate superlatives to describe our stay. Probably most impressive is the raised location of all the living quarters affording an ever changing vista of the valley down to the sea. The villa is exceptionally well equiped and appointed. We spent an extremely comfortable and relaxing break. Claire is most excerised in receiving comments to improve her beautiful home for the enjoyment of guests, but we find it impossible to help in this regard. We still talk about our vacation and hope to return again soon if we can manage to get booked. Eileen and David

We were utterly charmed by this wonderful villa just outside St Paul de Vence. It is clear from the quality of everything about this property that you are really being invited into someone's home. Open the shutters and drink in the view and you too will feel almost immediately at home. We were there for a long weekend in October and the weather was beautiful, the breeze gentle. Having arrived late the view didn't reveal itself until early the next morning and made all the better with welcoming croissants and coffee. Without exaggeration you could sit on the terrace all day. Beckoning and just minutes away, is the historic and beautiful town of St Paul de Vence. We loved it and wandered its ancient ramparts and narrow cobbles, later lunching at Cafe de Place and then dining in the evening at a rampart restaurant where the service and the food was delightful. The villa itself is in a gated area, just fifteen minutes from Nice airport, with key coded access leading to its hilltop location. There is a communal pool and patio area and other villas around though it is still very private. There are two double bedrooms and everything you would want in terms of kitchen, dishwasher, showers, tv, music system etc. The living room and front bedroom both look out onto the balcony, which in turn looks down onto a lower terrace and to the side of the villa is a lovely seated area. I think you can tell we were impressed. We did Antibe, Canne and Nice all of which are within a short distance by car and also minutes away are shops, a huge new shopping centre and supermarket. We have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful property and even describing it doesn't do the actual experience justice.

We were very fortunate to stay one full month in September at the wonderful Mimosa Villa. From the moment we drove in the gates of Dumaine du Piol we felt at home. A lovely welcome of wine and cheese awaited us on the table so we could toast our vacation and relax after the flight. Since we arrived late at night, we had the pleasure of opening the shutters in the morning to reveal a most beautiful view of the hills, and the Mediterranean. The space around the villa was great as we had the terrace, a large back patio including a Boules court and a side patio with a table. Pride of ownership is evident in this Home Away. We were also able to enjoy the pool which was very close to the villa. The interior is decorated very tastefully, incorporating all the French touches that you would imagine. The kitchen was great to work in and the sitting area very comfortable. The bedrooms accommodated us very well. I cannot say enough about the responsiveness of Claire (owner) and Eva (local contact) before and during our stay. We frequented the local grocery store, Leclerc, which has a great selection if you are planning on preparing meals. We had a car which made trips for groceries and to all the towns and villages in the region easy. We did use Uber a few times as well, which was much more cost effective than local taxi cabs. The closest town, Saint Paul de Vence was just beautiful. We spent time there just sitting in the large cafe outside the Boules court enjoying our coffee, wine and the culture. One could never tire of that gorgeous view right through the French doors at Mimosa Villa.

Look no further than this perfect retreat! Located less than a 30 minute straightforward drive away from Nice airport, this property is everything you wished for and more. Beautifully and tastefully decorated, and equipped with absolutely everything you could ever need, it's elevated position and fabulous terraces provide you with the perfect oasis to relax and unwind with a glass of one of the local excellent rose wines whilst you soak up the sun and the beautiful landscapes. If you can manage to drag yourself away, the nearby town of St Paul de Vence has many exquisite shops and restaurants catering for all tastes. This beautiful medieval walled village is about 15 mins walk so leave your car at the Villa and enjoy a few glasses of wine while you watch the locals play boules in the square. St Paul de Vence has been the inspiration for many of France's most famous artists and a stay at villa Mimosa must involve a lunch at the famous Colombe d'or restaurant whose walls are adorned with Picasso and terrace an inspired Fernand Leger cermacic. Book this restaurant well in advance as it is sought out by many a celebtity. A google search will reveal that you are dinning where Sinatra, Monroe, Roger Moore and Bono have all been amongst other Hollywood icons. Vence is just a short car journey away and well worth a visit on market day. The Villa is perfectly situated to explore the best of the Cote de Sur and we found leaving the car at the station in Cagnes Sur Mer the most relaxing way to explore nearby Antibes and Cannes. Going in the other direction the beach at Villefranche Sur Mer is just a few steps from the station. Claire and Peter have left great recommendations for local supermarkets and sightseeing trips. Don't miss the Grimaldi Castle in nearby Cagnes Sur Mer. A truly beautiful Villa in the heart of the Riviera. You will be counting down the days to your next stay there. We can't wait to get back to this little oasis of luxury.

We had a wonderful stay here as a family. Beautiful accomadation that has a garden with stunning views across the hills. Large communal swimming pool and a 20 minute uphill walk to the town, with lots of restaurants and shops. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

I have had the most wonderful time in this beautiful villa in the South of France! The villa is situated in the rolling hills outside of Nice with the most amazing views down the valley to the sea. Opening the shutters of the living room – one is absorbed by the beauty of this villa and its gorgeous surroundings. The villa itself was perfect, just perfect! Very clean and very well equipped with everything needed for a great holiday. Plenty of places to sit and relax on the property, an outside stone table for breakfast was wonderful, multiple patios for variety and a lower terrace to play French boules. Views down the valley were not only from the living room – but also from the main bedroom. Fabulous to wake up in the morning and throw open the shutters to look once again at that view! The villa is close to many of the main attractions in the area and we traveled a lot. Most spectacular was St Paul de Vence which is only a 15 minute walk away (5 mins by car). It is uphill but well worth the walk – little bars, cafes, restaurants and art galleries. I remember seeing St Paul de Vence in the old Hollywood movies as a child and it hasn’t changed at all! I walked there several times over my holiday and saw Rod Stuart and Roger Moore also walking the streets. It obviously has the same attraction for stars! This place is a gem and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I am already looking for times next year to re-book Mimosa Villa. I love it!

Claire, thank you for ensuring our stay was perfect. The wine and snacks on arrival were lovely and made us feel right at home from the start. The information you provided about the villa was very useful and also gave us lots of great ideas for touring the area. There is so much we need to come back. The only problem was getting our children to leave the pool and the boules in the garden. They loved it so much and tell us 'this is our favourite holiday ever!' What more can I say? The property was very comfortable, clean and well maintained, and in a handy spot to tour around and see many of the local sights.

We have been renting this villa for the months of January and February for three years and will be there for a fourth year in 2017 but will extend our stay to three months. We love this place and hope to keep coming back for a long time. Everything is done to a high standard. The villa is big and roomy enough for an long term stay for two persons. The extra bedroom and bathroom is great for guests to stay. The view down the valley to the sea is something we never get tired of seeing. Although we don't use the pool because of the time of year we stay it looks very inviting and is kept very clean even thru the winter months as is all the communal property in the Domaine du Piol. Centrally located we are near everything or just a short drive away. Polygon Riviera, a large shopping mall is minutes away. And, a large grocery store is at the bottom of the hill. We have told so many of our friends we now have quite a few who visit the region at the same time as us. I would not hesitate in recommending Villa Mimosa.

Mimosa villa was a perfect location for our holiday on the Côte d'Azur. The villa is clean and comfortable with great views to wake up to every day and was very well equipped with everything we could wish for so felt like a real home from home. In particular, the balcony was a favourite spot to relax with a glass of wine after a day touring! We drove along the coast to Monaco, Nice, Antibes and Cannes and also to the beautiful little villages perches of Eze, Haut de Cagnes, Mougins, all very easy to get to. We especially enjoyed the lovely St Paul de Vence, just a short walk away... a must for our morning coffee and croissant! Claire was always helpful and available to answer our questions. We would highly recommend and with so much more to see and do will definitely return!

We had the most wonderful experience staying at this beautiful house just outside the picturesque village of Saint Paul de Vence. If you are looking for a place to stay while exploring the French Riviera, look no further. We spent 5 days exploring the various towns and villages in the area - Nice, Antibes, Cannes, Eze and Monaco were some of our favourites and very easy to get to with the house being so centrally located. To us, the house was truly a luxury experience - gorgeous setting, modern and spacious interior, and plenty of amenities, utensils, etc. The house has everything you may need and the views down to the sea are fantastic. It is spotless, and more beautiful then the photos. Although the pool looked incredibly inviting, with the chilly November weather we weren't quite brave enough...although I'm sure many would. In short - what a wonderful relaxing home. We highly recommend the house and the fantastic Hamilton family who rent it, they were more than accommodating, provided a lot of useful information and just in general are a pleasure to deal with! We loved every minute of it! Given the opportunity, we'd return in a heartbeat. Thank you!

We had a lovely holiday at villa Mimosa! Perfect setting for travelling around the Riviera and also for just relaxing! Villa tastefully decorated and very comfortable and well kitted out. Janet gave us great ideas for places to go and see which we thoroughly enjoyed!! Pool great too and the other residents we met in the domain were very friendly! Highly recommend!!

Spent a very chilled out week in this lovely villa celebrating my husbands 50th Birthday. After a late arrival, we headed to bed and awoke to the amazing view from our bedroom window. There was nearly everything we needed in the kitchen (No dishwasher tablets). Safe was locked so couldn't use, but managed to keep our things safe. Didn't need to eat out, just loved being around the villa. The pool was a wonderful refreshing place to spend our time and chill. We did feel quite restricted having to turn lights out and go inside so early, as the evening temperature was so comfortable and refreshing, but obviously didn't want to upset the neighbours. Had to make sure not to turn on the wrong light in bathroom in case fan came on and disturbed neighbours. So quite a few restrictions, but at the same time very enjoyable.

We had a wonderful week at Mimosa Villa which is in the perfect location to explore all of the French Riviera. The views are amazing and it was great to have access to all the outside patios to take advantage of eating meals, having drinks or just relaxing in the sun. The furnishings were all quite comfortable and gave the villa a very French ambience. Janet gave us very detailed instructions for access/parking/good restaurants and the like which made life very easy. The entire compound is extremely quiet in a lovely neighborhood. Don't miss the boulangerie and wine shop she recommends - they were our daily hangout. We have great memories of a fabulous time and would love to go back again. It is definitely worth 5 stars!

Everything about the experience was great. The owners diligently and patiently answered all of our questions and were a delight to deal with. The villa itself was perfect and the location ideal. We're looking forwards to going there again.

Quiet residential area. Within walking distance to St Paul de Vence but could be unwise to walk back at night along the country lanes. Ideal for sightseeing and base for trips out eg Renoirs garden, Nice, etc. Villa had all required facilities (except english on the tv). Still who needs TV when in Provence for a few days?. Good size shared pool with sufficient sunbeds. Can recommend and we hope to return.

This lovely villa was just what our family of four needed after spending a busier time in Paris and Avignon. Peaceful surroundings and beautiful view... even while lying in bed you could open french doors and have lovely view of the mountains below. Shared pool was great and met some nice families there. Owner was wonderful to deal with. It feels more spacious then pictures show.

We stayed here on the 1st week of Feb 08. It is an absolutely stunning villa with private parking and keycoded entry. We had alot of helpful information including maps and instructions in the villa. Very clean and modern, a relaxing place to be, with a great sitting area and pool with stunning views. It was just 15 min from the Nice Airport along main road and a 2 min drive to the local supermarket and petrol station which has almost everything and very friendly people! Definitely recommended and will def go again!

if you are lookin for a peaceful break with breath taking views, peaceful location with excellent amenities to hand then this is the rental for you! 10 minute straight forward drive from airport, well sign-posted and good securtiy surrounding villa compound. Owners provided detailed maps of surrounding attractions which was very helpful as my french is tres poor! Extremely well looked after grounds and pool, appartment very clean with great storage and en-suite facilities! situated near lovely quaint shops and cafes this is a lttle piece of paradise i am glad to have tasted, very happy campers!

The view is lovely and the proximity to St. Paul de Vence is convenient, about 5 minutes by car. It is comfortable with very nice up to date bathrooms. The terraces are spacious and you can invite the outdoors into the living room and master bedroom by way of the patio doors.

The property is very clean, spatious and well-maintainted. It is in an excellent location, only 10/15 minutes drive from Nice airport and about a 15 minute walk to the quaint town of St. De Vence. The mangement team are extremly friendly and elpful. They provided maps and a booklet packed full of useful information about the villa and local area.
